Thank yee. I'm planing on making some shims for inside the handguard so it has less capacity to wobble. The rest of the gun is rock solid, but launcher has a few degrees of wiggle room. Just enough to be annoying
|
The handguards should be wobbly - if you're tightening the barrel nut and 6 bolts correctly...
|
No not the handguard, it's solid as a rock, but the launcher it self has the capacity to wobble, because there's a 2 or 3 mm on either side, and it's just attached to the barrel. The madbull handguard came with shims for attaching a launcher, however they still aren't optimal, as there's still a small amount of space for movement. I think I'll make some thicker shims out of electrical tape and hide them in there so they aren't noticeable.
I shouldn't say wobble, there's enough tention between it and the barrel so I can shake the rifle without it really moving, but I can phisicaly move it from side to side along with some force. |

Got it to stop moving around, then painted it up. Took the optic off as well, maybe stick it on the 249. Have an ACOG with a doctor and kill flash coming too, so I'll see what ends up on what |
