$250 for the one that looks like the nice pic:

$97.50 for the one that looks like your first pic, no buffer tube though

Both products are PDI and are of good quality, just have to figure out the battery though... I recommend getting a 1300mah+ 9.6v RC flat stack battery and cutting, shapping it to fit in the buffer tubes.

This is incredible stuff, you rock!

Just for giggles, let's see some people's thoughts on side arms.

Remember, I'm sticking to the Hi-Capa idea.

"Never wade into battle with a sidearm whose caliber does not begin with anything less than the number 4!"

Have at 'er!

The strider series is nice and light, should do the trick.

Hatches and Machineguns. The irony of that m4, is that I have been looking for a year for something like that. So to get this straight the bat goes in the stock tube? and that slick outter barrel and heat gaurde are one set.

Savage I don't know how you do it man!

This kit is shaping up to Zombilious! Way to go guys!

Okay, I'm liking this look more & more:

Question 1 - What inner barrel best suits this set up? Not sure where to look, or how to approach.

Question 2 - Metal M4/M16 bodies (flat tops) with out trade marks: (for eventual Umbrella engraving) who makes them, where can I can get them? I've looked on WGC & UN, but the pictures are too small & the descriptions too vague for me to know for certain.

Thoughts?

I almost afraid to think of what this might cost, once landed in Canada.

So, considering my current financial state (ouch...), plastic M4 bodies?

Okay, for the size of the barrel on the front, go with a plastic. Then run out to your local hobby shop and pick up some modeling puddy. Fill in the trades and use a light sand paper to sand it flat. Put a nice coat of flat black on it.

Seriously, how hard do you intend to pull on that heatsheild that you'd prob never touch. And you could afford to build two of these with plastic bodies in mind. Could just find two beater M4's kicking around and mod em.

You can also just grad a used G&G body or any other metal body where the trades are painted, not engraved. Then you just have to engrave, repaint, and you are good to go. That or do your own stencil on the side in full color. It is perhaps not the prettiest way to go, but you get metal body over a plastic. (or you can get a metal body with engraved trades, do the same thing by filling, and stencil/engrave, repaint).

Here are some for sale right now:

http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=32889 <- maybe still

I am sure more will pop up too, I just grabbed one a few weeks ago for $145, nothing a bit of cleaning and paint didn't fix.

Okay, I've got a massive box of M4/M16 parts left over from various parts purchases toward my C7A2 build - (Thanks Matt, Bones @ Warcraft in Mission, BC - Here endith the shameless plug... :D) - not enough to build a gun from the ground up, (need a mech box, wiring, this thing & that thing, etc) but enough to have an idea of what I will need to put towards my Umbrella SPARCs Patriot Mod.

I'll lay everything out for pics & have them up tomorrow, hopefully, you magnificent bastards can point me in the right direction.

Savage Haggis March 12th, 2007 03:49

Okay, in order to build this:

http://www.ascarmoury.com/images/pro...DI-PAT1-1l.jpg

I need to all move this: DETAILS

And This: DETAILS

AND This: DETAILS

And Locate A 2nd One Of These: DETAILS - Which I Can't Seem To Track Down For Love Or Money

So I can start tracking down the RE UBCS Patches, somewhere in Canada, and the various other gears I need.

Umbrella Riot Shields - Ballistic Shields.

http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.c...h_1938_7697921

Maybe going a little too far? Worth the effort?

What the hell, I've gone this far! :D

Wasn't there rules regarding shields in airsoft? (I thought I saw something on here a while back...)

Anyone set me straight?

Suggestions?

An interesting piece, sure, but I prefer the surgical, no BS, no toys appearance of the Patriot mods. Hmmm... maybe a silenced version?

Two excellent background sources:

I received this as a Xmas present a couple of years back & have read it, cover to cover, at least five or six times now.

The Zombie Survival Guide

...and I received this for Xmas this past year, and have read it three times already. (Hope Brad Pitt's production company doesn't screw up the movie version.)

Hahah too funny you mentioned that Zombie survival handbook.

I saw the same book in this guy's MP5 thread :)
