I've only gamed it once and didn't have any problems with the cables. Sometimes it can get tangled when you try to put it on though.

I think you can still order it direct from LBT if you call them, just like all the other MG stuff.

I did and they basically told me they will do small runs for mil/le of specific item, you can buy the small stock of what they have left, or you can wait till September-October when they are planning on doing another run.

Sexy. That must have cost a pretty penny. Love that PIG PC though. Have debated biting the bullet to get one as well. Their hydration carrier is a beauty.

May I ask where you got your MAP pack from ? Did you GMR mod it?
Also I've found the S&S 6094 magazine insert pretty good compared to the Mayflower insert. It's a little more bulky but there's enough retention to not have to use the bungee cords.

My MAP is a Flyye replica, I got it from shootercbgear roughly a year ago. I was going to have it mini modded, decided not to. I am actually probably replacing it with the Emdom Vehicle Hydration Carrier.

I've never tried the S&S. I actually run my Mayflower Insert without the bungees. The APC Kangaroo pouch is already semi tight, and I haven't had any rogue magazines just yet. do S&S 6094 Inserts fit APC's?

The EVHC is much nicer; sleek, low pro, and does the same job without modding to cure floppy pack syndrome.

Yes and no, they fit if you dremel the sides. I prefer it over the Kangaroo because each mag is compartmentalized and there's no movement whether there is 1 or 3 mags.

I'm using the Source Dagger right now and don't mind it so much but it sags just a tiny bit when fully-loaded.

Off the shelf these are great little rigs that, IMO, need a little "fiddling" to work best.
On the inside of the mag pouches is a tight elastic mag retainer, I have cut these out and removed the stupidly designed mag covers and fitted bungee retention. These allow a good fit on the mag in the pocket without rattle.

It now works really well and is easily as comfortable as an Arktis chest rig or even an ESS Trim Boar. I have it configured (H Harness style) to run a Day Pack carrying a bladder and other bits and bobs.

Figured it was about time I posted my kit. It's about 99% there ;)

Just wondering, for you guys running double stack mag pouches (ie X2R Tacos) on chest rigs, do you find they tend to flop around a lot when moving/running? I've heard they work better with PC's as the hard plate gives them a solid backing to mount on vs a flexible chest rig.

I'm trying to figure out how to setup my chest rig and I've got three X2R's which seem to flop around when they're loaded up w/ AK mags. Thinking about swapping them out for 4 single pouches instead.

Decided to dive in on Emerson's new Crye Precision licensed gear. Needed a chest rig and pack, so, yo.

The rifle case, shirt, and rifle are all just items that arrived in the mail on the same day. Go figure.

Turns out I missed the boat on a Crye JPC order, so I'm not sure if I'm going to get in on the next one, or go to something that doesn't require a minimum 5 months wait.

What would other people recomend in something similar, low profile, multicam carrier. Preferably a "real" piece of kit rather than something designed for airsoft

Edit: never mind, I decided to take the less lazy route and just look through the thread again.

Seeing as there's a Mandrake setup in the thread, here's one in Highlander to complement it.

Light, streamlined, highly versatile HSGI based kit, chest rig also integrates with the pack. Put it together with the intention of running various guns with different mags; it's still missing a couple of pieces (need to integrate comms) but I'm happy with it for now.

By the way Wilkie, the Mayflower APC is a nice, small, light plate carrier that has a ton of options to go with it in the way of conversions and addons. It is about the same price, actually a tad cheaper, as the JPC.

I use the APC and whether you are running light or with a full load it fits very nicely and is very comfortable. Doesn't sag to the front or back if the weight isn't balanced. I have added some home made plates for added rigidity.

DS Tactical in BC sells them in most colours and patterns you can think of as being "modern, in use in the wild", including all of the different Kryptek patterns if that floats your boat. Can have it shipped with FedEx to your door for under $300 if I'm not mistaken.

That does look nice. I was actually looking at a Ferro Concepts rig, but the mayflower is cheaper. I'll see where I'm at come payday

Ah yes I have. Looks good as well. At this point though I'm also looking at a couple Arc'teryx goodies, which are carried by this DS tactical Zack posted. They carry the Mayflower rigs, so at this point I'm leaning in that direction.

Yeah, I'm thinking about putting it in that somewhat empty space between the holster and dump pouch on my belt.

I might shift things around a bit to make a bit more room when I go ahead with it, but I haven't had a need for a radio yet so it might be a while before I do it. Might mount it one row lower so it hangs off the belt a bit just to tuck right into that spot.
