If you want that exact kit from this pic, yeah it's a good idea :P

If you want a MARSOC kit, the CAGE is quite rare. The CPC (copies are available under $300 if you prefer) is a better choice, or the MBAV, shown in many of the pics you posted on the previous page, which you can get (the real one) under $250.

I want a new side arm, probably going with a P226.

You'd have quite a few things to update to be more MARSOC-ey.

But before you invest in a new sidearm: prefer a Glock 19 or a Colt M45 for it to match your MARSOC kit (assuming you're going for something contemporary).
