Have you tried a different mag?

IRONSIGHT March 26th, 2011 21:43

What kind of BBs' are you using?

turok_t March 26th, 2011 21:51

Yes, I tried both my M4 mags.. no go.. Im using 0.30g bastards. Disassembled and reassembled the hop up unit several times.

IRONSIGHT March 26th, 2011 21:59

I'd stick the original barrel back in and start from scratch. The hop up rubber is no where long enough to hold 4 bbs in there, so I would assume there's something wrong with the barrel itself.

turok_t March 26th, 2011 23:20

Yeah, im going to try with the stock inner barrel, but I would much prefer to use the RA TECH one... it worked twice before, but failed to work for the other 6 times when assembled/disassembled the hop up

intresting, im runing both of these parts and before i added the barrel it was fine. any other solutions instead of sanding the nozzle? having a smaller spacer on the npas rod comes to mind so the bolt doesnt push it to far in

I think the issue is a diameter problem, not length. the tip of the npas needs to be a hair thinner, not shorter.

Anyone know if this is any good?

if possible im going to change the nozzle and put the npas part into the original nozzle and see if that works

edit: i now have the npas valve in my original nozzle, so far it seems to have worked just dont have any gas left to test :( will update

turok_t March 27th, 2011 18:40

Does anyone know the inner diameter of the RA tech and stock inner barrel? is it 6.01 or 6.03?

EDIT: my gun amazingly works with stock inner barrel, but not with RA tech inner barrel.. also, when i installed a shorter RA tech barrel compared to my longer stock inner barrel, FPS increases by like 30-40fps. So im guessing the RA tech barrel must be uber tight compared to stock

Anyone found out a solution or some kind of remedy to fix/prevent the back plate from exploding on a WE SCAR? Mine exploded the other day. I'm kind of bummed about that. It's a great GBBR otherwise

you can add rubber to face of the recoil rod. You can do the pvc mod. Or you can wait until ratech releases the cnc'd part 66 and buy it. If you buy a replacement part 66, chances are it's the reinforced gen 3 part.
