Eh no problem, off to reread it.

Just thought I might as well ask first.

WE 416 Help

Ok so I've basically put together a WE 416 from parts. I received the final part yesterday which was the barrel and RIS. I took off the rail to attach it to the upper and then re-attached the ris. The RIS wiggles around and when I received it it was did not. Is the only thing holding the rain to the barrel the screw and the quarter circle lugs? Did anyone else have this problem?

Thanks

Hey Everyone

I have a WE M4. The internal upgrades are all RA-tech; npas, cnc hammer, cnc sear and cnc valve locker.
My issue is that part 40 (plastic tube behind valve body) has broken twice on me already. Also, I have noticed that part 39 (valve guide rod wobbles, not sure if this is normal or not) Before I get another part 40, I was hoping if any one knows what may cause this issue of it breaking?

Thanks

not sat in the bolt carrier correctly?

j3anius March 17th, 2011 17:07

Well when I put it back together I pushed it right up to the valve body.

Are you shooting gas or propane mags?

j3anius March 17th, 2011 17:52

propane

My WE M4 is acting strange... Im using a RA TECH inner barrel, and when i fire my gun, the bb's misfeed all the time... Here is what happens:

1st shot: no bb's come out
2nd shot: no bb's come out
3rd shot: no bb's come out
4th shot: 2-3 bb's come out flying

and repeat....

i tried to use my unjamming rod and i realized that the bb's are very stiff/stuck inside the hop up/inner barrel.. is this a common issue for ppl? or is it because of my RA TECH inner barrel?

Eeyore March 26th, 2011 19:37

Could be your hop up rubbed is jamming up bb's until they seal well enough to spit a few out at once. I suggest dissasembling your hop up and reasseble it to make dure its all squared away.

The inner barrels are more trouble than they're worth. I tried shooting without any hop up rubber and it still wouldn't fire properly.

ebfud March 26th, 2011 21:00

i have this problem too, when i took the rubber out it was shredded so im going to replace it and see what happens

turok_t March 26th, 2011 21:13

Yes, so i tried without the hop up rubber with RA Tech inner barrel and it stills jam.. when i lightly use a unjamming rod to see if a bb will get stuck, it seems to be fine..

Is this an issue with RA tech inner barrels or does this happen with stock inner barrel as well? Any other suggestions?

Eeyore March 26th, 2011 21:15

Your inner barrel could be slightly bent.

Ratech npas are embarrassingly not compatible with ratech precision inner barrels. Stock gas valves work with ratech inner barrels, and stock inner barrels work with ratech npas. I emailed ratech about this, and they ignored me. you can sand the tip of the ra tech npas and it should fix it.

turok_t March 26th, 2011 21:40

The thing is, im not using an RA TECH NPAS kit. Im using stock air nozzle with RA tech inner barrel.. Sometimes when i disassemble and reassemble the hop up assembly, the gun shoots fine, but most of the time when i reassemble it, it has feeding issues.. maybe 1/6 times it works. Here are the current solutions I have attempted but failed to work:

1. Disassemble and reassemble the hop up unit
2. Removed the hop up rubber and bucking and just installed a naked barrel in the brass tube
3. Thoroughly cleaned the inner barrel and brass tube removing any grease or debris
4. Stretched out the hop up rubber so its not as tight when attached to the inner barrel.
