MK3. Combat boots anyone? :D

still have a pair that was issued to me 6 years ago, but I prefer to wear my Danner Ft.Lewis boots for airsoft.

I'm still wearing garrison boots issued to me 4 years ago :P and there still in fine shape! But no doubt I'm getting some swats for my future career :)

I currently rotate between my S.W.A.T and Magnums at work. Love them both. Airsoft I will wear them sometimes but they are both steel toe due to work regulations. However, I love my blackhawks. Super comfy, super light, super love!

Well I've used mark IIIs mark IVs for issue stuff. I got a set of oakleys for cheap and they were nice. Comfy got rid of water and dried quickly but they fell apart. Now I have magnums and love them except sandtraps hate to stay tucked in (works fine with socks over the sandtraps).

Are they 8 inch?

I hate Magnum boots, i used them as my issued boots killed my feet, these did nothing for me, my feet used to get soaked in the field, and cold, so i tried to find out a really good pair of boots that i can wear and that helped with a bit of support, i found an instructor who wore the Haix boots, him and the medics swore by them, so i got a pair and WOW man, best boots ive ever worn. weather proof, gortex, my feet stay dry and warm and look good in my uniform.. i wont wear any others.

i've tried every kinda boot thats out there and these are the best yet. lasted me a while now also and not a sign of tear.

A french guy had those on one of my courses. They look nice might get me a pair of those next.

Yes the 8" my ankles never get sore in them. I think its the cut out on the back that does it.

Zep January 26th, 2011 01:41

i had crazy shin problems with the magnum boots, no support and not the best for military life, wear fast, tread sucks and wears super fast, no support, bad in wet weather and so on, not good boots i think.. Haix all the way, never had any problems after i got the Haix boots.. 100+
