though the question has already been answered, ill tell you NOT to shoot at lightbulbs, even thicker flourescant ones.
they have a certian amount of pressure inside, causing the shards to fly back in from the point of entry. flourescant ones are worse, because they have a higher gas pressure. |

in the real world theres a lot of shots you can take be for you go down. if you get lucky enought you can take an entire box mag befor you go down. if you get luckly. thats a mighty big if. and a shit load of luck. but it can happen the statistics of serviving a full m249 box mag are 0.0015628 to 1 thousen pur bullet. plus 1 in 2 each shot are a threw and threw. its statisticly imposible but it could happen. thats why if they dont say hit just keep lighting them up |

One way you can shoot out a window would be if it is straight on it and didn;t "glance" off. That would be why a car window would/wouldn't break because they are commonly at about 45 degree angles. The side windows on the other hand could maybe be broken because they were designed to a weaker standard due to not needing to be as resitant to a force. Correct me if I am wrong but if you shoot anything that the bb will glance off of you should be perfectly fine.

With stock airsoft guns, we were shooting beer bottles from about 1 meter away, they were breaking (TM MP5 A4, MP5 SD5, AK-Spetnaz, G36C)...

I tried shooting glass 30cm from the gun and the bullet exploded, but no
cracks. I tried on a mirror and regular glass. the gun used was a HFC G26C with green gas @ 300 FPS with .20 g ammo ( Not the best BB out there for sure) I figure it might crack glass if you used metal bullet. |
