I bought my Tippmann A5 back when it first came out with the flatline, stock, remote line package, bought all the necessary gear and 'stupid' pod carriers.

Although, having said that, the cost of paintballs are retarded. Probably spent couple grand on that alone. But what I am trying to say is airsoft is more expensive, more relative, and there are a copious amount of gear, accessories, parts, real steel parts, you name it.

You will never play paintball again.

Alright, so maybe I shouldn't paintball and save up all the money I can? Then when I'm sixteen I'll start looking at Airsoft gear writing up my list and stuff.

I suppose that information wasn't very helpful or relative as to what you were asking, you can however take the cheaper side of airsoft. In paintball if you don't spend the money on your gun and hopper and what have you, you are seriously out gunned and out matched to those with bigger wallets. With airsoft you have the option to go cheaper, yet still able to have the same accuracy and range as most high end guns.

But as stated earlier in the thread, use the 'search' feature, browse through old threads, there are a lot of good sites with lots of information to go through.

Not many people will admit it, but chairsofting is a big part of airsoft. :p

Yeah, don't worry I'm reading all these first Airsoft rules and regs, laws and ect... I think I have most of it down but I'll keep them book marked for further reading and evaluation, anyways I hope I can show that some of us youngsters can actually play Airsoft and not be a total pain.
Edit: Also this will help me with my gun studies for gun poses and movement so don't be surprised if after a round I break out a sketchbook and start drawing you all. =P

Actually.... one time I had a pump action player come play on a "public walkon day" and he was kicking ass against the other team (they had 2 guys with what I believe to be full auto RAP4's that shot something crazy like 10BPS or something).

Believe me, we know that SOME minors can be awesome but it's a lot easier for hosts to have a blanket 18+ policy (or 18+ with certain exceptions), not only for legal aspects (and the fact that hosts don't like their games being a daycare/babysitting service) but also to cut down on douchbaggery (but at the same time there are people that are in the 18-24 age group that are complete douchebags as well (*cough*fratboysandguidos*cough*) however they tend to get uninvited from games and mommy and daddy can't complain about it).

My parents couldn't care if I don't get invited or not just as long as I play fair, safe and actually get outside since I stopped doing Mixed Martial Arts for a few months now.
Edit: Told my friends about my decision to go Airsoft instead of Paintball so, I guess I'll save my money up to buy some new Uniforms that fit, buy a new RRV since mine is ruined get some Head gear and good eye protection, but keep my Headset since it is still in perfect condition.
Also, are Trail/Hiking Shoes good for Airsoft or do I need the Combat Boots?
