I used an armorers wrench to take the delta ring off mine. Ended up breaking it just to get it off. And to take the front sight post off, I used a hammer and punch. The pins are tapered so you'll have to hit them out a certain way.

jesster202: Thank you sir. Its a finely tuned styrene flinging beast.

Love the paint job/finish on that.. I'm. Building a GBBR Mk18 right now and That's strikingly similar to what I want my finished product to look like. I guess I will have to make revisions to my design as to not be a copy cat. Lol

That could be why I had trouble with the pins. I'll check em before I start. Thanks for the tip! Is there an easy way to tell?
I got my last KA delta ring off without breaking anything so I have faith this one will come off. I have a pretty heavy duty armorers wrench.

I don't know if it could be possible to replicate. I was kind of going for a multicam snakeskin thing but it just turned into a dirty looking shi*mix that I ended up loving.

I basically dug through my paint bin. A base coat of black krylon + primer, dark green, and brown camo krylon, and light coyote and coyote brown Aervoe.

Well, whatever you did, you did it right.

Turns out G&G is redesigning their Specter DR for the next run, so I'm waiting a few months. I'm hoping the next one will be in Dark Earth!

I picked up a Eotech 552, cause it was in stock at my field's tech's place, it will stay on the M4 until I get the Specter.

Zack The Ripper June 27th, 2013 08:59

I'll probably be grabbing one then too. I am going to be using my 553 on my Mk18, but I'm likely going to grab and build a second upper receiver for it (longer barrel) and add the DR to that bitch.

Latest configuration of the VFC SR-15. Seems to be serving me well.

Since everyone is talking about those ka m4s, here's my primary right now.

Looks great Dutch, almost the exact look I'm after with mine.

Figure ill post my mk18 as well. Needs a paint job though.

Acid44 June 28th, 2013 02:05

That's probably the best use of colour I've seen, crazy well balanced.
