With that setup you have it is clearly built for CQB. But then again I see the P90 as a versatile airsoft rifle, one that can be used for CQB and the other for open field with the appropriate setup. Again different point of view for different user.

Don't worry about abomination thingy, as stated in my previous post that I am working on another receiver for CQB specific setting.

prettysure the P90's being discussed here fire a 6mm BB. It just drives me crazy when people go "well the real one!..." it's dumb, it's still an airsoft gun, hearing people argue over what gun is better in the safe area during game's is quite laughable, they'll have two seperate gun's with the exact same gearbox and motor, same rof, same fps but they'll constantly draw thing's in from their real steel counterpart. (range, penetration power, recoil etc)

I have to agree with Darkangel (lol we get along pretty well these day's I've noticed :D ) you buy the gun for that gun, turning them into other thing's is stupid, all this being said, the real p90, make's a shitty field gun, the airsoft gun does also, there are a few where I play and I even bought one (and pput it back into it's qb form) and they've all been outmatched, and with the silencer and barrel they end up just as long and heavy as an m4. you don't have to get an m4, just turning a p90 into a field gun is an oxymoron considering what you have to spend to get it there and how much weight you add to it all.

My bad for the spelling slip and thinking that a properly modified P90 can be used both as a CQB and field rifle. I guess my quest for a lightweight, compact, decent accuracy and range, easy to disassemble and maintain AEG is a bust.

Agreed, stick too the F2000 if you want a P90 Assualt rifle.

If you want to put a M4 box feeder on your P90 and a RIS then go for it. I just hate those two add ons as thats what every person thinks people should have when you fully upgrade your external look of the P90.

Also, P90s are built for smaller built users, sorry big guys ;)

ya but this is airsoft, not real life. maybe he likes the way it feels and doesnt want to buy 2+ guns for every situation. plus p90 airsoft guns are some of the most reliable ive seen and used so maybe thats another reason he wants it for outdoor and indoor. LOL i hope to god no one puts a bipod on a pistol and tries it even with airsoft jesus christ haha

okay so if he wants a good CQB and outdoor P90 then UPGRADE YOUR Inner Barrel.
That's P90 Upgrade 101 in my books.

Keep the stock barrel for indoor and your new inner for outdoor.

My only gun is a P90 and I'm happy with it for Outdoor usage.

I don't see how the RIS system helps other then you get more rail space for a Laser/Flashlight Unit box, Holosight/Elcan setup, scope setup, etc. In that case then it is understandable to get one as there is no way you could fit all that on your basic P90 Rails.

But for a grip? The P90 grip is probably the most effective thing your can get when it comes to maneuverability. That's if you are of a small built... If you aren't then I question why you got a P90 :p as it would be like myself (I'm 5'6") getting a LMG (M249 Saw or ChainGun). Just would look more fugly and messed up then ever.

Guys, as stated in my previous post. Hes free to do whatever he wants.

But as stated in that same very post, if he posts pictures/details of it on a public forum, he should expect public responses. Whether he likes those responses is a different story, but either way, hes free to do as he pleases.

Same goes for my photos, if someone wants to knock it, thats fine with me, I posted it up on the boards, and I fully expect/understand that some people may not like it as much as I do and they are welcome to post their opinions on the public boards.

I would have taken photos of my gearbox, however after opening it over 100 times and staining my hands will lube and grease, I'm going to leave it closed and in my P90.

I was thinking the same thing. I think at Green Zone a month or so ago we had most of the P90's users attend, however, we never really contacted one another about a meet.
