Sounds like all ShootSoft needs is a proper conflict resolution policy, and then solidly and consistently apply it, combined with timely communication. These things can be remedied quickly, a bruised brand... not so much.

They should also remove their policy to not shipped the item before 4 workings weeks (a month), I personnaly think this is what kill them. Why wait a minimum of 1 month for a gun you can have everywhere else withing 2 weeks.

"Because of the high sale volume, shipping delay
is now set at 20 business days... sorry for the trouble"

Crunchmeister May 28th, 2009 09:10

This usually can be translated to "We don't actually have anything in stock. So you pay us up front, we'll order it then ship it to you when we receive it". When things like this are policy, you have to read between the lines. Don't know if this is the case in specific with shootsoft, but I would suspect it to be. That's how it used to be with their black guns.

Um... this is the shootsoft thread, not buyairsoft.

Ok, just thought that "high volume sales" would mean that they are sure about selling a lot of airsofts so they could build stock, because of the high volume sales ^^

Personally my order was shipped and received within a week of order. I was really happy with that aspect. My only compliant is why is a Canadian website that does, I suspect, all of its business to Canadians, list all prices in US dollars. While on the surface shootsoft looks cheaper than their competitors , they are not, more expensive actually.

Sim123456 May 28th, 2009 19:48

This is why they do that, to make more money from the people that don't catch this! ^^

I'm sure they still do that with their black guns because i ordered 2 guns from them 4 days apart the full black bodied one order first but the second one a clear receiver is being shipped first. also tho i would like to say other than the shipping wait they have responded to all my emails same day or next day also my clear receiver gun shipped a week before expected so that was also nice. hopefully like the said the full black will be shipped shortly after.

Yup good old drop shipping! Thus the reason they have to contact TSD for a gun replacement.

All the "older" members here will remember all the problems of me being shafted by SHOOTsoft. I (and a couple other members) left LeGROS bad feedback and got retaliatory bad feedback in return for no reasons. Let's just say LeGROS got a warning from an admin and even a "temporary ban" for his troubles.

If anyone wants to know the troubles I had with shootsoft then "shoot" me a PM, I really don't want to open this can of works again.

I had to wait over a month to get my gun. They responded to my emails when i sent them however it still doesn't justify having to wait over a month just to have it shipped. Once i recieved the email that it had been shipped, it only took a week to get here.

Con Murder June 25th, 2009 14:19

So a friend had me order him a Mp5 from shootsoft and the 20 business days (5 weeks) sounded so rediculouse I emailed them. They responded, apologized for delay and said they would update me asap all within 24 hours.
It seems they use french for first language and that may be why it takes some time (are the gun boxes bilingual and stuff?) but thankfully they shipped it out within a week and a half. I started reading this thread and shit my pants for the days it took for the gun to arrive. It got here fine, changed my pants and happily tested it out.

kalnaren June 25th, 2009 18:26

If you think 20 business days is unreasonable for Airsoft in Canada, you're never getting a gun.

Silverthorn June 25th, 2009 18:41

Shootsoft does not keep an inventory on hand. He orders as people order their guns. Can't blame him. Not many people can afford to buy lotsa guns and HOPE someone will buy what they thought was good.

At least you know up front that it's minimum 20 days. Now if that delay could be respected...that's another story.

Dual M-60's June 25th, 2009 18:57

I guess thats all right. BuyAirsoft has will ship very fast however it usually takes a very long time for them to get new guns in stock once they are sold out. On Shootsoft you will always be able to buy what you see but it will just take a longer time to ship.

mkeras2 June 26th, 2009 21:34

I ordored a G&G gr16 a3 carbine from shootsoft about five days ago, but it says on their website that it could take 20 days because of high sales volume.
