You missed my point. I wasn't talking about shipping prices. A single GBB mag will cost $5 or less to ship anywhere in Canada via CP. What my point was, why pay $60 + shipping for a mag from a Canadian source when the same one is available for $30 from an Asian source.

that's very true, this coupled with the shipping prices makes for high prices for us consumers

Most retailers except for a few exceptions that will remain unnamed have decent shipping prices. I always buy from airsoftparts.ca. I use standard shipping and usually get my stuff in a day or 2 due to close proximity. Others tend to seriously gouge on their S&H charges in order to make up for their lower 'sticker' prices and give us the impression their items are cheap. Then you hit the checkout and see you're being charged $40 for shipping a couple of small items that actually cost less than $10 to ship.

Well lets make this discussion a lot easier :) I hope

My site will now feature free shipping on all orders and a Quantity discount on your purchase amount, basically the more items you buy the bigger discount you get because shipping costs per item will go down.

An interesting marketing approach.

More feedback would be great :) thanks

Having a retailer that I could talk to on the phone/email to place orders for unique/obscure stuff would be greatly beneficial. Can you imagine how hard it is to describe airsoft parts/gear to someone who doesn't speak english well?

I am willing to take a 20% increase in prices for better, faster local service. How many people have had their piston shred/battery explode/dog shit on their optics, days before a big game?

The shipping idea is a good way to promote team orders.
