do you really think that you and your 500grams or less a game will be saving anything? and at the cost of safety too. every bio I have seen or used sucked and would break, crack exept one from the uk but I can't remember the name.

*shudder*

Well, 5% of the population of North America controls 90% of the wealth. Newsflash: you and I are not part of that 5%.

I think redistribution would make everyone well off except the 5% who would then be at the same level as everyone else.

Perhaps the BBB's? they are the only truly bio BB's on the market, They are made with like corn-starch or something, i dunno, apparently they work beautifully too... but with shipping they are close to 30 bucks for a bag of 1700...

Who said being green was cheap?

Tex July 10th, 2008 14:08

true, right now my parents are building a green house...straw bale walls, geo-thermal heating, solar passive for water (used for heating too)
It's ridiculously expensive...

I wonder if i could try to get a store in Canada to start stocking BBB's...

rexdlu July 10th, 2008 14:19

you'll need more people to commit

theguy July 10th, 2008 14:21

I think if they were a reasonable price, I have heard that they are on par, performance-wise, with every other high-end BB, some people even say they're batter...

I personally think people would pay an extra 10 bucks a bag for the planet, i would...

the problem is that there is no effective way of redistributing that wealth.

besides, communism went out of style with the colapse of the Soviet Union.

theguy July 10th, 2008 18:46

I actually think communism is perfect...on paper, people-including myself- will never be able to totally give up all they're rights for the greater good...
and for it to function effectively, we would need a government that isn't corrupt, something communism has never seen...

Read the warning label. These are supposed to be very good BBs, but not easy to get and only available in 0.20g.

Knightwarrier July 12th, 2008 19:46

I wouldn't be as concerned with how much environmental damage you are doing with bb's compared to how much the environment is damaged driving your fossil fuel guzzling automobile, playing on your pc thats powered by some coal fueled energy plant and wiping your butt with Scotties premium a$$ wipe made from trees that transform the air you spew back out into oxygen again. Now really. Are you going to the airsoft field in a smart car? Is your PC solar powered? Come on peolpe! Lets concentrate on what's really important here, microscopic amounts of plastic bb's or REAL earth saving solutions?
