1 week ago, I bought a 6" barrel extender for my HK416. I received it today, exactly 1 week later. Price was $18.50US shipping included. Doesn't get any better than that.

There are a lot of great items on that site, and the fact they don't charge you $40 shipping on a $10 item (like eHobby, Redwolf, etc...) is extra bonus.

That being said, eHobby and others have a much larger selection to choose from, and will carry gear that ebaybanned doesn't. But if it's available from ebaybanned, you'll get it way cheaper than any of the other China / HK retailers just because shipping is free.

Well, the shipping isn't really free. It's just included in the price. That being said, their prices are pretty good anyway.

I sawa barrel extension on ebay from an American seller going for $19.99 US plus $10 shipping to Canada. I got the barrel extension for $18.50. Shipping included or not, their prices are lower than competitors.

Yeah that's what I'm saying. Kind of like eHobby. Yay cheap Hong Kong shit!

You bet. I'll buy from Hong Kong and China any day. Shit gets shipped fast too - much faster than anything coming from the US, and often faster than stuff coming from within Canada. When I bought my TM P226 in late November, I had also ordered a package from Redwolf. I got the shipping notifications from both orders on the same day. The Redwolf package arrived in 5 calendar days. The P226 (from BC to Ontario via Xpresspost) took a full 7 days.

Yeah, stuff is usually pretty quick from HK retailers. That being said, I paid for stuff from 3 HK retailers over a week ago, and they're JUST sending stuff out now. Grr. I usually have good experiences with eHobby though. 7-10 business days.

I'm not sure but it has been more than 10 days since I placed an order. Till now, I haven't seen or received any news from Paul. The status of my order is still "shipping as soon as possible" so I email him just to ask about shipping date, but...nothing happens. I think ehobby is better at this point.

Qlong April 1st, 2008 00:54

Email him asking for a tracking number, it might just be sitting at customs. I usually receive my packages in 8 days. As for that 'status' if you can call it that, it never changes, just stays like that. Paul or Jesse usually answers within 3 days.

the funny thing is, sometimes when I email Paul, someone else answers for him. So I know at least 2 other people will answer the emails. I haven't had any problems with someone not answering emails from him, and I usually receive the items within 2 weeks from ordering.

One thing I do not like about ehobby are their cheap envelops they ship in, it is usually strung together using that old fashioned string wrap-around envelope. Anyone can pretty much open it and they are prone to opening accidentally.

EC74 April 1st, 2008 01:21

oh, and another thing is that they changed their price to Euro now....

Qlong April 1st, 2008 01:23

I still pay US through paypal tho...

pawscal April 1st, 2008 01:24

no they just added some currencys, you can change it on the right side of the site

EC74 April 1st, 2008 01:25

ya, he sent an email saying that they had to switch due to the fact that the US dollar fluctuated too much.

Edit: oh, lol, haven't really looked through it as of yet, thanks!

Well Ebaybanned or CP managed to screw up my delivery address, double checked everything on the invoice and it was not at my fault. I had it delivered to my Hamilton home but it managed to get to someone in Toronto and someone by the name of ASHA HAGIWARA signed for it...Friggen gay, so I'm waiting for a response from CP and Paul now....grrr
