this is going to be a dumb question but whast the difference between the $350 ones and the $1500 ones. are they really that much better to be priced that high?

VERY big difference :) You pay for what you get, just like in cars.

Let me put it this way:

$500 M4 = Civic
$1500 PTW M4 = Ferrari

Opinion only, a 500$ M4 can be a really dam good gun for year. If you have a car only to go to A point to B point, you'll find a Ferrari useless (and to much pricy).

But you have some guy who always want more than other and will buy the 1500$ gun instead. :D
