Ohhh the molding problem it must be the early models. There are those who bought them in the past and had to physically cut part of the middle frame in order to cycle properly.

It may also be the outer barrel was deformed as I experienced that with a Darkhawk but thats a different model, in the Glock family but not the same structure

I've had the chance to look at an older (2006) model HFC Glock 26 and the newer (2008) Glock 26 side by side. In terms of quality the difference is leaps and bounds. Tolerance issues seem to be resolved. Quality of the metal on the inner parts is much better on the newer ones. Mag leaked a little bit at first but it's fine now that I've worked it in a bit. Molding on the outer barrel is a little shoddy still but run some fine grit sand paper over it and it's fine. I have noticed that HFCs require a lot more maintenance than normal but the trade off for the price more than makes up for it. Over all it seems like HFC is learning from their past mistakes and correcting them on the newer generations of their guns. As for whether or not any of the newer gen gun will have any unforeseen issues, only time will tell.

Personally, I'd take a KSC over anything HFC any day. You have a higher quality gun that you can actually get upgrade and / or replacement parts for if you need them. Break the internals on an HFC, and then you have an expesive paperweight. Break anything on a KSC and you can get the replacement parts fairly easily.

That being said, I haven't personally tried an HFC Glock, but having seen their brand new revolvers and M9s basically fall apart out of the box, I don't have much confidence in the brand. And I'll add I'm not a brand name elitist like some people. I have awesome JG AEGs and WE GBBs that work flawlessly, but I wouldn't trust HFC by what I've seen of them.
