nothing 2 second and a pen wont fix.

And i fired a g36 using m4 mags... worst good but the mag does not freefall uppon release. Benn told by the owner it's a common problem

I just got the conversion magwell, at first it look like a good piece of equipement.

But!!! i just realise that not all brand of m4 mag fit in that thing, star low cap work perfecly. I've tryed TM, classic army, king arms lowcap and none of them work fine. They all got a lot of wobble and the king arms lowcap dont even clip in the mag well.

It might be a good product but only after ive figure out the wobble problem.

But great news, my CA C-Mag work just fine with just a little wobble. Something i could esely fixe with a little shimming.......

how prefectly does the star low cap fit? are you talking about the real caps or should all star m16/m4 mags fit "perfectly??

I just have realcap from star and it dont fit PERFECLY but it fit fine without any shimming. Got a little wobble nothing much compare to my King arms, TM, CA metal mag.

I've just order some star midcap, i'll see how they fit but they seem to be just like the realcap in ''shape''.

It may have mentioned it in one of those links, but, does this thing have a mag release button on the right side of the magwell like on an Armalite? The pictures make it look like it's on the left...?!

Thanks

It's only on the left side.

swatt13 December 22nd, 2006 17:23

wont work on my xm8 goddamnit.

Hortons Heros December 27th, 2006 01:12

are there feeding issues with this wobble (assumption)

Darklen December 27th, 2006 01:41

I tried an TM low and hicap, an ICS hicap, a Mag Midcap and all worked fine witht he wobble. The Airsoft Elite mags I tried misfeed alot. Didn't matter what I did to fix it, it just wouldn't feed. I haven't had a chance to try it with STAR, King Arms or CA mags yet.

Oh! Well, my comment still apply to the airsoft version. ;)

And don't tell me you shot a real steel G36 i envy you so much....

I've just received my starmags. I'll come back with some comments after i test them. I talk to Private Parts, the company that make the airsoft conversion kit and they assured me that in the new design the wobble problem is corrected.

To be continued...

Did they mention any time frame with that "new design" by chance?

Its not hard to fire arms like this, some ranges in the states allow you to fire restircted firearms in the states. Ive fired one. there amazing.
