Hi, i would like to know what brand of paint did you use? Krylon, duracoat, etc.

Nice paint job. Have you used a clear coat on top of that paint?

Jixton

Jixton,

That is just 3 colours of Krylon Camo, Tan, Brown, and OD. No top coat was applied.

Thanks again guys.

Here are some new pics I took of the updated rifles, some are not that great as I was fooling around with the camera a bit.

I think you've just secured yourself a spot with some of the top AR builders on this site. Fark man. I just fell off my chair!

Deeds, take that battery crane on your M4SD and stick it on the M4 with the CASV front end and you have exactly what I want to have made up by the end of the summer.

Dirty Deeds April 12th, 2007 15:46

Thanks Kos. Drach I thought you were going to tell me to stick it somewhere else.

here is closer look at one of my newer projects. I'm looking to build a full metal DE. I still have to order the frame, but have installed the Zeke's metal slide, tightbore, and upgraded recoil springs.

I used a gun blueing kit from Canadian Tire to refinish the slide.

In the first pic you can see the Zeke's brownish finish. In the second, you can see where I didn't de-grease it properly, so I will have to do it again, but the second time around it's going to look bad ass. Either way it gives you an idea of what can be done with aluminum or steel using a gun blueing kit.

LOL! Did you just copy and paste that? I could've sworn I JUST saw that in the other thread...

Dirty Deeds April 12th, 2007 15:53

Yeah, I figured, since I showed it there I might as well add it here.
