Cameron SS, perhaps I can offer you some advice?

Try more reading and less posting. This community is used to "high flyers" who know nothing about the sport appearing out of nowhere and telling us our business on a pretty regular basis. We happen to have a good amount of lawyers on this site already.... in fact, we're full at the moment and are not accepting applications at this time.

It's not that we're hostile, it's not that we can't agree with outside opinion; it's that you're barging into the place, telling us our business and generally making a fool of yourself.

I dont mean to side note but i just bought some mags prior to this ruling and its being imported from the US would they be taken away then? Or since as some post the ruling isnt new, they will just be at the discretion of the border officer?

No you're fine. Wait, you mean airsoft mags right? If its airsoft mags you're fine. Otherwise you'll be beheade-- no wait, that's if you're captured by ISIS. No, you're fine.

Nothing has changed since 2012.

If it was importable last year its still okay; it it wasn't it still isn't and will be seized.

That being said, support Canadian retailers when you can. Only by developing our retail and distribution (and increasing our purchasing volume) will domestic prices come down. We already have several retailers with a lot of products almost on par with US pricing.
