I can't imagine how much less cool an electric smg will be. All the fun of the maruzen Vz.61 is in the noise and the kick.
I dunno about AEP smgs.

That's true, but with these AEPs you don't have to spend money on gas, as you have a rechargeable and reusable power source. Also, there won't be any cool down issues or gas leaks, so you can spray and pray all you want. Plus, as Aquamarine pointed out in another post, the Japanese market seem to favour NBBs over GBBs and Marui sells to the Japan market only. I myself am looking forward to the MP7, and the VZ61 looks cool too.

True, bigger batteries will make a difference.

It will probably be something like $400+ because all Canadian retailers are EXPENSIVE. Why are Canadian retailers so much compared to American dealers?

Bandit September 22nd, 2005 20:47

Okay, the Scorpion is officially my next airsoft gun. Whenever it comes out.

why is airsoft so expensive in canada? because it costs money to pay for the item, then you have to pay shipping fees, customs tax, brokerage fees, etc...

that is partially why it is expensive. some retailers sell it cheaper than others, that's just how airsoft is in Canada.

curious, did anyone ever try to ship a gun from the states in parts in seperate boxes? Would customs actually stop a box with a barrel or parts. :)

Yes they would stop a box with parts. There was a member on these boards that tried to order a couple of airsoft glocks, he had the seller put all the slides in seperate boxes and all the frames in seperate boxes, and all the mags in seperate boxes. All the slides and mags came in, but customs took the boxes with frames in it. Another user had a spring for an M60 I think seized by customs. So if you wanna order something and have it split up into parts and sent seperately, you can do so. But customs doesn't mind taking boxes with just parts in it.

In the US you can get An ICS with RIS for 300. That's alot less than Canada's. Plus I want a KJW M9 and it is $300, and off of an American dealer it's 140 USD cheaper.
