Yes it does

I just recently ordered from UNCompany the new Shooters Design metal slide for the Hi-Capa.

All the other metal slides available were just ordinary 1911 slides, this one is an exact copy of the plastic slide. The OPS-M.R.P CAL.45 markings and shape of the slide was all more the reason for me to FMU it.

I loved the stock look of the Hi-Capa and now I can keep that same look.

Mr. Barlow July 12th, 2005 18:16

Hey Gryph im looking on the site and can't find the shooters design, do you have a specific item number for it or can you send me a link. Im trying to FMU mine but i want something similar or exact to the original design.

cheers

oh yeah how much did that slide run you? (cost that is)

and does adding the metal frame affect performance???

Matt_M July 12th, 2005 22:13

go to UNcompany's page, on the side bar click on Accesories-Pistols, and then scroll down until you see Shooter's Design Metal Slide, from there the top three metal slides are for the HiCapa. Also if you keep scrolling down there are a few more slides for the HiCapa as well! they range from 98-100 dollars U.S.

Droc July 12th, 2005 23:32

any problems with ordering metal slides from UN company?

Mr. Barlow July 13th, 2005 03:12

Hey amigos I got another question/s

1. Does adding a metal slide affect the hi capa's performance

2. The Hi Capa mag's are so damn cheap on UNcompany's site, anyone have any trouble ordering those from there?

Anduril July 13th, 2005 03:42

You do know that its all US pricing there? lol

hey Gryph! why do you have my avatar picture! 8O

I see a second ME lol

Mr. Barlow July 13th, 2005 05:58

Ok $27 US for a magazine that would normally cost about $70 US u do the math my friend.

ILLusion July 13th, 2005 12:34

$70US??? I don't know where you're buying your Hi-Capa mags, but they're sold in Canada for about that much in Canadian dollars!...

Tankdude July 13th, 2005 13:04

Think that was a typo on his part.

Matt_M July 13th, 2005 15:02

i hope so lol or else he's getting ripped off!

Matt_M July 13th, 2005 15:10

I think you meant $70 CDN. Also, i've found most HK retailers are selling hicapa mags for $27 US, so UNCompany isn't exactly the cheapest. Don't forget, when ordering overseas you have to pay for international shipping, customs fees and duties, as well as the GST on shipping. Not to mention if they send it UPS, then UPS will charge you. Your not going to really save a lot if you just order one or two mags. Just buy one from a Canadian retailer.

Uhh... lots of issues and wasted money there:

1) The Tanio Koba Piston cup IS a piston head. Buying a PGC aluminum piston head is redundant if you're already buying the TK piston cup
2) SystemA Oilless Metal Bushings... WHAT?! Those are for AEGs....
3) No "Piston" exists in the TM Hi-Capa 5.1... so I have no idea what that PGC "piston" is...

sorry that was my bad I copied some of the wrong things from my paper *smacks forehead* sorry about the mix up! lol I feel so stupid now! :banghead:  I Guess I should learn to read over what I copy! It should be fixed now.
