This may be an absolutely noob question but...what tool(s) do you guys use to remove the triangle front sight?
Also, The m4s in here are absolutely gorgeous |
1.5 mm hex wrench, then a 3/32 punch left to right.
|
A pin punch? Lol
Its two pins underneath and usually a set screw under the sling mount holding it on the barrel. You may have to remove the sling mount to get to that set screw |
Awesome! Thanks for the help guys. Will post mine on here soon!

Thanks Zack, still waiting on a lot of external stuff, but once it finally makes its way to me I think I'll be overly happy with its turn out.

Yeah I actually realized that I should probably grab some back-up sights for that optic, the battery life isn't great and I've had it die at a few games. Ordered some DE Magpul MBUS, as well as a Magpul MSA and MS3 sling.
I'll finally have a sling system that allows me to stow my rifle on my back while using my pistol or going hands on for various MilSim scenarios. I think my next major upgrade to the externals will be this: http://img.redwolfairsoft.com/upload...4-23-T01-L.jpg http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/accessori...etal-body.html It was originally an SRC M4 RIS Gen III, so it's already shooting 400 FPS with .20's and has fairly good quality internals. Won't be upgrading those till something breaks, but I have a 11.1v LiPo on the way for it as well since the nun-chuck battery it came with obviously won't fit in the buffer tube. |

What length rail and barrel is mk18 on top? |
It's a madbull dd m4a1 rail. 12.5". I ended up using the stock 14.5" outer that came with the rifle.
