WTF

OK i ordered my JG M16 A1 FEBRUARY 18 ! and the canada post tracking detailed page said its going to come on march 19?? Kind of long shipping dates wouldent you say?

LeGROS March 14th, 2008 00:06

That nothing to do with shootSOFT! Your AEG was ship before the 20 business days we ask! Total of 7 days (12 - 19 march) for Qc to Bc, seem normal for me!! Next time... when you will have your AGE VERIFIED, ask us if it's possible to ship with UPS! AT 120$ next days waranty!

Christian has nothing to do with Canada Post.

The estimate Canada Post gave to me was for mine to show up on the 13th, but that obviously didnt happen. Hoping for today!

I would definitly order through Shootsoft.ca again. Great service and fixs problems quickly. I just need to get age verified in the summer so I can order again!

Supreme customer service. I would definately deal with Christian and Shootsoft.ca again.

I have to agree with you ! I'm so impressed with the customer service !! This being my first AEG purchase, I had plenty of questions, and Christian answered all of them very quickly ! I'm defiantly gonna order more stuff from them !! ShootSoft.ca scores a 10/10

Just recieved my HK416 from shootsoft.

After placing my order, he e-mailed me to say I couldn't get the crane stock version because he was out but that I could get a full stock instead. I agreed.

In the end, I recieved the crane stock version I wanted in the first place. I am totally happy with the service and it did not take long for me to get my gun.

I recommend buying from Christian and will do just that when I get age verified (and that is whenever I get out to play again).

CYMA AK74 came today, beautiful gun except it came broken! :(

The silencer was off the gun with a peice of the gun already broken off in the silencer...

Help :(

Probably not the fault of shootsoft. Blame Canada Post. Damage refund?

Crunchmeister March 18th, 2008 21:00

That might be a really touchy situation. You're not supposed to send replica firearms through the mail.

How exactly does one claim to Canada Post that that their illegally accquired and illegally shipped item got broken in the mail?

Azathoth March 19th, 2008 00:26

Here are the relevant links:

https://www.postescanada.ca/smartmov.../moving-e.aspx

http://www.canadapost.ca/tools/pg/ma...-e.asp#1378242

It is permissable to ship firearms, replica's, imitations.

Having worked at Canadapost I am unaware of any policy that states that if an illegal/prohibited insured item was damanged/destroyed by the postal service it was excluded from reimbursement.

This would be something that you should call the Helpline about.

Make sure you get the name, Employment ID of the person you are talking too.

Crunchmeister March 19th, 2008 00:34

The CFC posted a list of approved carriers of firearms and such, and unless it was shipped Priority Post (the most secure shipping method), other Canada Post shipping wasn't on the list.

There's a link that was psoted here a while back about it.

actually my buddy got a m15 sport in the mail from someone that sells alot of guns on here and you could clearly read M15 CLASSIC ARMY and a pic of the gun, there was just 2 pieces of white paper with addresses on them, the mailman was holding the box from the plastic handle and says "your going to have fun with this!!"

Demichev March 19th, 2008 00:51

I don't think the gun was damaged during shipping, reason for me saying that is because the box is in mint condition.

When I opened the box the 'silencer' peice lay broken off infront of the muzzle. It looks like they may have tried to unscrew it but broke the whole peice off, then threw it in the box.
