Nice stuff!
Here's my AGM MP44 after refinishing the stock with walnut stain and Minwax Tung Oil Finish. Now I just need to deal with that orange thing........ Andrew http://img709.imageshack.us/img709/6...refinished.jpg |

Looks great, are you going to paint the grips in a wood pattern?
|
I would like to do that. I'm not sure how to accomplish that to get it to actually look good. Any suggestions on paint type and technique?

Check out this thread....
http://www.ontarioairsoftwwiireenact...er=asc&start=0 I noticed the pics I posted have become dead, I'll try to re-upload them ASAP. However, you should get the idea from what was written. |
Thanks, I read the tips in that link. Time to start experimenting

I used your tips the best i could.....I'm not a great painter:rolleyes:
Here's what I ended up with. It obviously doesn't match the stock, but I'm happy enough with it! Thank you for your advice! Andrew http://img685.imageshack.us/img685/8971/grip1.jpg http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/7673/rclose.jpg |
Well done! It finishes off the StG44 nicely.
Mine didn't match the stock either. |
