Doesn't matter. The sector gear pulls the tappet plate back as it rotates. If the tappet plate wouldn't come back all the way, the mechbox wouldn't cycle. Unless the tappet plate is flexing something fierce, but I highly doubt that.

It sounds like a faulty mag to me as well.

i guess there is only one way to find out. ill hae to get a new mag or at least borrow one. at least i have a new toy coming in the mail :D to compensate for my losses. thanks for the help guys.

Try firing it upsidedown. Friend of mine had an MP7 with lemon mags, still fed upsidedown though
