Ok well first off just to let u know, we do live in Canada :banghead:where our Custom guy's DO NOT know the difference nor have the training to tell the difference between Real Steel and Airsoft guns or most parts. So anything like lower metal receivers, front conversion kit's, mag's ect....will most likely be seized for they will think its Real steel parts and not Airsoft. Unless its a half clearsoft and half metal AEG or pistol, or if someone has gone against the Border Law and smuggled in a all black gun to sell u, then anything that looks Real Steel will be seized and u wont get it.
Just be careful and hope that what ever u order will get through. |
I think you've missed the point Marty. It's not that they can't tell the difference between airsoft guns and real guns, it's that Replica firearms aren't allowed, and airsoft guns are replica firearms.
|
Oh trust me I do know they are under that Class. But I do know u can still order half clear and half metal AEG's and pistol's and most parts though. But we do live in a Country (Canada) that is against Airsoft, and unless 90% of the Airsoft team's and retailers in this country dont band together and save our Hobby from getting Banned all together....then once our Govt decides to ban ALL Airsoft related gear, parts, and gun's, then we can kiss our Hobby and Sport goodbye. Its sad really, but it might become real life soon.
Im just putting my point out there....Sorry if Ive cause any grief? |
Hmmm...how bout a G&P PEQ Laser (not a battery box), I heard that some lasers arent allowed into Canada...can anyone shed some light?
|
Usually most accessories are allowed in as long as it does not say a weapon name
Like one time they opened up my package and held my Holster Which said 1911 Pistol Holster (But all they saw was Pistol) and taxed me extra on it Then another time I was getting some TM mags and they accidentally put Pistol Magazines and that was opened to and examined Just make sure you accessories don't say a weapon name, cause Customs will seize and open anything and tax it extra, even if it says Pistol 150% KA Spring they will only see the word Pistol and open it |
It depends on the strength of the laser. At certain frequencies (Mostly really high or really low), they become illegal because they're dangerous. Normal red light lasers shouldn't be a problem though. However, as already stated, customs people are pretty random and it all depends on the guy dealing with the package.
|
hmmm, I tried looking for more info, but all it says it's a red-light laser...
|
Any laser you are buying from redwolf or any firearms accessories or airsoft accessories manufacturer won't be powerful enough to be stopped at the border.
|
yeah...thought so...thanks!!!
