Watch SHOOTER and you will get a lil bit of an idea of hw to use the twigs/leafs/etc on the gun while spraying. Another good way is to use netting to make a (kinda) digital look. The biggest thing is to break your gun up into pieces, so when you are in te bush it doesnt look un natural. Their are a few reviews on the web tha can help you out as well. But, I think it was a great idea to practice before doing.. Take a lok around and see what style f paint job you like and dont hurry it.

good luck bud.

Not bad, very good first try. Check out hobby forums for methods to strip the paint if you ever need to.

Heh, it comes with a little replica scope that really is a laser sight, too. Those wierd notches on the top rail? That's for sliding the scope in, because they were too cheap to just get an actual mount for it.

Maybe this will rub some people the wrong way, but I don't understand the obsession with painting full camouflage patterns on AEGs.

Judging from the footage and photos available today, it seems like the vast majority of soldiers in Iraq or Afghanistan do not paint their guns. For those who actually do it, it also looks more subtle than just spray painting their gun from stock to muzzle. Sometimes you can't even tell whether it's intentionnal camouflage or mud/dust.

Anyone got an suggestions on what I should use as a casing for the internals? Don't exactly have an M203 body lying around.
