It's not so much the microswitch contacts (there was some carbonization that I filed off on one of the contacts from arching) on the CA M249 I'm working on, it's the damn arm the trigger stud presses. It has to be bent in such a way that the trigger can press it down enough to make the switch close, but also has to be bent in such a way that the end of the switch arm doesn't come close to the spinning sector gear (it has in the past, caught the gear and fucked the arm up). Add in this arm (the third replacement) is starting to weaken............ it'll work for a few trigger pulls, then start to bend in such a way that it doesn't make contact anymore. Sorry for the convoluted description, I'm working on my second coffee. :smack:

Yeah, the bellows system is total crap. If you need parts for one Stalker I gave my stock stuff to Testtube for his parts bin. Either the Angs cylinder (great upgrade) or the Guarder cylinder (even better upgrade) puts the bellows to shame. The stock-ish mechbox assembly of the 249 makes even a V3 look unreliable, and if you upgrade it to full Guarder components, you'll be in support role heaven.

--there's a guarder cylinder upgrade? where can i buy that?

where can you find these upgrades? I'm fairly new at this and would like to make the mother of all s.a.w's out of my m60 shorty but find it hard to get accurate and reliable info and upgrade solutions. I've looked through the retailers, etc. buut always come up short.
