Try the French riot gear. I saw some cops decked out like that when I was in Paris.

Might want to look up the movie Equilibrium. The police troopers or w/e look alright. For the umbrella look, might want to replace the clear face mask with a gas mask. Also knee/shin guards add to the look (more armoured) with elbow guards. I tried to get a screen cap, but it wasn't working very well. They also have somesort of armor with shoulder / neck guard. Kind of looks like a bombsquad suit.

This is type of Gas Mask I believe would look incredible with the Umbrella Soldier load out I'm putting together.

Only snag is, it come from Europe (Ukraine/Russia), by way of the USA. Having read about the Molle Vest fiasco, China by way of the USA/Homeland security, I don't want to end on Uncle Sam's shit list.

So, I know these Gas Masks are in Canada, but I haven't had any luck checking the various on line Surplus shops & I wanted to ask the gear whores a big - big favor.

If, in your travels, you happen to see one of these Russian Gas Masks in a surplus shop, for a reasonable price ($50.00 CAD Tops), get a hold of me ASAP! Perhaps we can work out a deal where I could reimburse you, with proof of purchase, plus a little extra for your trouble, kind of deal.

If I find one out here on the West Coast, I'll be sure to post here once I've obtained it.

I've got one of these things for sale right now... It's pretty intimidating; Lol it's a shameless plug :) but It's up to you.

Is it the same Russian type as in the photo? This is the type I'm currently seeking, worst case, maybe an M17A East German knock off in black.

is pretty close to the look I'm after regarding my Resident Evil Load Out. Unfortunately, I'm unable to find better pictures of this particular incident to better define the gear these officers are wearing.

Would anyone have better pictures, or a description of the gear involved?
