Crosman came out with there version way before the storm. Like way before. It is just an extended barrel and takedown stock of an older design.

I own both. :)

It's non-restricted...if you have a PAL, you can get one. Wolverine supplies had some.

P&D in Edmonton has them as well. Better buy the real one quick, because if the Fiberals get in this spring, this gun will be the first one prohibited.

All guns used in school shootings become prohibited. It's Fiberal policy.

Also, all guns that look scary or threatening, or uninformed citizens think are "machine guns", get prohibited. Spas-12 was used in "Terminator 2" while the current act was being drafted. Guess what classification it is?

Stock, the barrel is 16.5", so restricted. The conversion to the 18.5" barrel is very popular, making the re-classification to non-restricted (and thus, alot looser on the regulations).

Wait, Wait, Wait, im not really into the whole firearm liscensing thing here in canada. They can classify arms by there apperance and social role. what about barrel length, and magazine capacity, bolt, semi all that jazz?!? im a little confused how that works.

Voodoo January 9th, 2007 00:23

it shoots like a hand gun, feels like a rifle. Load 10 9mm into a handgun mag it slide into the handle and you cock the leaver like an MP5 and away you go.

Semi Auto was what i had ad the range.

It's about barrel length, overall length, mag capacity, and the "hoodoo" of whatever the CFC feels like this week.

Consider this: A 6-shot Smith + Wesson K frame with a 3" barrel is a physically larger firearm than a 10-shot Glock 17 with a 4" barrel, but the S+W is prohibited while the Glock is merely restricted.

The laws don't make any sense, so don't try and make sense of them.

mcguyver January 12th, 2007 14:29

You think the laws regarding airsoft is messed up, try bullpups in real steel. They've been arguing about that one for years.

ie. Bullpup guns may be legal if barrel length, OAL and fire-type are met. Bullpup stocks as additions or modifications are illegal. But the law reads "bullpup stocks", so most people believe that all bullpup guns are prohibited.

fuck that noise. Ill stick to shooting in the states...
