Hate to tell you, SAW isnt a designation for a weapon. SAW stands for Squad Assualt Weaon. This can be any number of different machine guns.

When people say M249, I want people to think about the full sized version, not the short version(or some people call it "the gun from CS" or "the gun from the movie Swordfish" or in this case-the gun we saw in Maxim)
