was it the motor plate setting then? careful not to over tighten that thing though. too loose and too and tight is bad for your gears.

Above is definately true, one time I played with that and I would never do it again unless it was really really bad.
If you do get it nice though, put locktite on it, just a small bit that you could get off if need be, but enough to hold it. |
another way getting the correct motor height setting safely is to assembly your gearbox without the load (spring and piston). then letting the motor turn the gears while adjusting the height setting. listen for the sound that least "screams" and then youve got it.

Yeah the motor kept slipping out of the gearbox all I did was adjust the height of the motor adjuster and it works now I fired about 200 rounds out of it so far and not 1 problem very powerfull too.
