Again, until you have used one, what is the basis of your opinion?

There are times when an AEG will rule, for example when longer ranges are involved or quantity matters. But when you are in the brush-woods, a Marui shotgun is just fine.

the only possible situation in the bush where it could come in handy is if you can get close enough without being noticed(ambush)....but in that case, a GBB, NBB, Springer or even a straw with a BB would work. Atleast with a springer pistol, you have mobility.
Even at thick bush like Foxden, a shotgun has no advantage over anything(say maby harsh language or McDonalds farts).

But say you have a Marushin M500 8mm running on propane...then its a different story. Aside from having an awsome full metal shotgun, you have awsome range, can fire more then 3 BBs, and has the 8mm that can cut through bush like crazy.

Keep in mind somebody with a shotgun can run through the bush faster and unseen. Than anyone with a 20lb upgraded M4A1 with 10 or more lowcaps.

I use to own a M4/M203 with 11 lowcaps and the thing was heavy after being all geared up. Then switched to a M3 super90 fullstock, I took off my vest and just had my GBB in my dropleg. Then you must master the art of shotgun ninja's!

Silence_1029 December 8th, 2005 16:47

but the point of a shotgun is too cover a wide area...

Mantelope December 8th, 2005 16:50

Have you ever fired either a TM or a real shotgun?

endLess December 8th, 2005 16:54

Since this sorta relates to this thread i will ask it here. How does an m4 frag works?

Mantelope December 8th, 2005 17:01

I'm assuming you mean 40mm grenades. They're like many little tubes with BBs and a gas reservoir.

What happens when you shoot it out? Does the grandes lanch out and then the bb's shoot out?

Mantelope December 8th, 2005 17:18

The BBs launch, that's it. It looks kind of like a net of BBs.

endLess December 8th, 2005 17:22

Oh! I see now, thanks for the clarification.

And you think that the spread from the guns is actually greater than that of the airsoft version?
