You can use some fine sandpaper 600-1000 grit and wet sand it.
Just be sure to wrap the sandpaper on a hard flat surface to keep it even.

Looks like it might be that you did leave it too long. No worries, just do what others are suggesting, some wet sand paper and a flat surface. Add dish soap to your wet sand paper as it will help :)
