on alot of my gbb mags in the past i have taken em apart and polished the bb tract to remove any imperfections. Lotta mags are just cast and sometimes there will be burs or bumps or dips, the will work good untill the paint starts to wear off then bbs will start to get stuck. A scotch brite pad works well for smoothin most of em out, some need a needle file or sand paper to take off big bumps or smooth the transition into big dips

I might give that a try...like that more than the idea of greasing it, although at $60 a mag (for the AR) I'm a little hesitant! The pistol mag is a no-brainer...I've been tinkering with the 4.5mm versions of these for a while...
