Nice, but why did you paint green Tetris blocks all over it? :-D

I'm working on a golf cart right now, but doing the exact opposite thing. I'm lowering it and putting the crappiest Canadian Tire bling on it I can find. I even found spinners for 8" golf cart rims. Maybe I should change and make it an assault vehicle instead... :???:

Nice! maybe we'll see some LAV-like on the field someday. :D

Stop giving Idea's! Giving 2cents is just going to make the Warmongers get more stuff.
:-D

BAH! IT was no match for the little red suzuki! hehehe

The "wargo" (f-argo!) was pretty damn cool though, it'll be awesome when the kinks are worked out. Trees in the way? BAH! :) The tetris block camo worked out really well though, if it weren't for the "end of the world" sound it made, it'd make a nice little stealth insertion tool...

awesome wargo, i bet it would be cool going into battle in an apc. maybe ill paint my yz green and add a cage.

Pip October 3rd, 2005 19:58

It's all about mounting an airsoft Mk19 nade launcher, like the hummers.....ooooo niiicee

Droc October 3rd, 2005 20:50

yah, the Wargo was great. Assaulting the towers at the LZ proved to be difficult, but totally fun.
Rough ride through the bush, metal bodies are a must if you dont want them smashed around inside.

We have 3 people here that have one. Raven, Vondnick and laser. All of them are real buity and beast of the field.

If it was not the price, I'd have one too. I would still need a new car and trailler to tow it to the field.
$$$$$$

Dude - where do you think they got the inspiration from? They were all at OP QuickPass just like you were. Maybe you should hang out and actually MEET the people that post here a little more. We don't bite!

Well, I dunno about APOC...

CDN_Stalker October 3rd, 2005 21:55

Ponch, Fox & I were actually hoping to meet up at some point during the day, but never got a chance to. At least Aper surrendered to us mid-day to meet me and some of the rest of us. Overall was good to meet some of the guys I see on ASC. Fox, next time! Lol

I am aiming for the 8wheel version as well. Looking at some sorta TANK or LAV configuration.

I want to mount ofcourse one of my air cannon and probably my .50 and maybe my 60' on it too. hehe

Glad to see other people doing similar projects.

We love you, Blasty. Really - we do. You rock, bro.

CDN_Stalker October 3rd, 2005 22:24

All is fair in love, war(sim) and airsoft props!

Yes, and Blastyman has some of the best looking and more interesting toys out there!

Heh heh hehe... That's awesome John!

I've been looking around for things to do to one of my quads and the coolest one I've found so far was:

More info/accessories @ http://www.store.yahoo.com/diamondba...rugterveh.html

So if all goes as planned this spring, we'll have one or two of these on the field:)

It's in my plan to go to games outsite Québec. I tried this summer but I lacked time.

I keep an eye on other provinces games too. Next summer, my team and I hope to attend a few games "over the boarder".

Th LZ near Ottawa is not too far of a drive for you (looks like Dirty Deeds, Malfrat and otehrs are coming up here for a big game Oct. 15th), is a great field and has a bunch of good players, lots of fun! Beats driving an addition 3-5 hours to go play in the Toronto area (meaning the extra driving time would be a bummer for him, not that the fields there suck).

Someone was asking about cost. Well start with a 1977 argo. I'm not sure what the cost was on that but this is what went into it

30' of 1" Square Steel tubing $1.85/ft
4 sheets inf 5/8th plywood $28 each
Primer, Paint, etc approx $100
1 4x8 sheet of heavy duty screen $50
Misc hardware (handles latches, screws, bolts, etc.) approx $100
8 new Tires $50 each
putting the tires on the rims $10 each
Carb cleaning and rebuild $$ unknown

Plus your gonna needa Mig Welder and some heavy duty tools to use self tapping screws into hardened steel, a drill press came in handy too. And to top it all off it took about 80 to 90 man-hours of labour and a few beers to get it all together. but very worth while...

Check the Gallery HERE to see how it all went together.
