Ive been wanting to convert a 45rnd bakelite mag into a hicap. But I think Ill wait untill I build my RPK maybe next year at the earliest.

Only problem is that their rare. I think they sell for over 100 bucks each. You can get a 40rnd waffle mag for not to much or a 40 rnd metal one. Not sure how easy it is to mod. But if you want it bad enough...... anythings possible.

Those are not 45rd mags, I'd say 75rd at least. 45rd is just a bit longer than a regular mag.

Those look like 50 rounders to me, 100 round mags (non drum) reach to the barrel.
