Oh boy, if you're able to do that, all MY dreams would come true! *bats eyelashes in Slick's direction*

Actually though, can this be done easily?

Slick September 21st, 2005 20:08

Only problem is that their rare. I think they sell for over 100 bucks each. You can get a 40rnd waffle mag for not to much or a 40 rnd metal one. Not sure how easy it is to mod. But if you want it bad enough...... anythings possible.

45rd mags look different and longer than regular 30rd mags. Slick wants to build an RPK later on like he said, that's where 45 rounders are used for the most part.
I did find RPK 40rd 7.62 mags for sale in Canada, but we obiously won't be able to purchase and deactivate those things without proper permits.

Droc September 22nd, 2005 07:55

^^ Waffle mags ^^

Imagine going prone with this thing :D

666 September 28th, 2005 21:07

Those are not 45rd mags, I'd say 75rd at least. 45rd is just a bit longer than a regular mag.

ancorp September 28th, 2005 21:12

Those look like 50 rounders to me, 100 round mags (non drum) reach to the barrel.

Cheers,
Alex
