Still not gonna hold my breath over the P90 but am interested in what else WE may have line up next. TAR21 GBBR?

N_Force June 16th, 2013 14:41

I've been waiting this MP5 for long since I had the VFC. WE gives me the image is fair price and fair quality that I would like to get one from them. Modify it or not is depends on how heavy you use it. Even if you are lucky, you may not need to spend a penny in a curtain amount of time using. for sure I was not the lucky one. The first PDW got trigger problem in day one. The M4 broke in the first gaming. AK74 got broken part in two months. Lucky thing is that spent some money and able to fix. Fair enough though, it's WE. This coming MP5, yea, I'll go for it. Now is how long we have to wait for it coming in the market and how much would it be? Let's see....

Hopefully they will use better material and clear all the "bugs" before they put them into market.

You won't see a P90 or TAR for quite some time due to the patents being current, MP5 is an old design and the patent protection has long run out. TAR 21 wouldn't be hard to do given WE could reuse their L85 internals but they would have to make significant external changes or buy licencing rights. Same with the P90 they gave it their best and got shot down. I'm wishing for a GBBR FN C1.

Drake June 16th, 2013 15:35

Either that or they'll have to put out some "inaccurate" P90, like they did for the MP7 (SMG8)

Rumoured to reveal nxt i think is their Scar-h. I remember them hinting at it with a picture of a lower.

Hectic June 16th, 2013 16:02

A 417 would be nice too. Would like to build a dmr platform outta one of those.
Or even sexier a g28

Drake June 16th, 2013 16:24

I'm still dumbfounded they haven't put out an AKS-74 or classic AKM, considering 99% of the parts are already there in production, just need a slightly different gas block, front sight, and a non-railed gas tube and muzzle break for the '74, and wood furniture for an AKM.

And I'm pretty sure they'd be more popular with AK fans than the current offerings.

N_Force June 16th, 2013 18:49

Yeah, classic AKM..... Want one. If not I may get the GHK instead.

RaisinBran June 16th, 2013 18:53

Maybe WE knows that the GHK is just nicer.

I can't wait for the MP5K though, as much as I hate stock WE guns, for the price I wouldn't mind fixing some stuff with RA parts

HeadlessChicken June 16th, 2013 20:47

or they won't bother and simply wait for someone to make a wood furniture conversion kit.

VFC MP5 is fine. I have one, and like all GBBR's they need some tlc.
Upgraded the major components that were troublesome and it turned out fine. I had WE's before and they are just terrible. The RATECH stuff doesn't even fit properly. I doubt this MP5 is going to be anymore reliable then the other guns they have pushed out.

That and a stg 44 would make my day

mr_nuts31 June 19th, 2013 19:34

One thing I would love to see WE pull off for the MP5 is incorporate what they did with their AKs where the bolt doesn't lock back but at the same time the gun can't fire because the magazine is empty.
