Yeah... I like the look of the MS700, but I've always liked the L96 style bodies too... although if I had the money I'd be buyin' me a WA2000... Anyway. I'm going to stick with the G96, just got to figure out where and how much the parts are going to be... Probably another $250 bucks at least to get the new chamber and barrel, each are about 100 bucks plus shipping :/

Because the rifle requires more work than just a replaced barrel? Not all barrels are just going to work in it either I'm not going to throw money around to buy several barrels and monkey around. I don't have a ton of money to be wasting it, which is why I'm asking for opinions and suggestions. If I'm going to get the barrel I might as well get the other parts I need as well.

Contact edgi on facebook i got my 510mm inner for round 120 bucks andbits likely beter then the promy.
They custom cut any length up to 800mm (i think) they have 5.98 (yeah i said 5.98) 6.01 6.02 6.03 and offer stainelss and brass. (that was the last time i dealt with them back when they still had a US distributor. But they are vsr10 experts. They often build guns for sniper comps shooting crazy shit like 800fps lol. They make sweet barrels. |

I'll send a message to them and see what I can do. I know it's only aesthetic, but I would LOVE to hack off the ugly-ass orange cap (don't mind that it's orange, I just hate the rounded tip -_-) and put a proper L96 style muzzle tip. |
Its not spose to look like an l96 its spose to be a Remington m700 with an accuracy international chassis system (aics)
One of these http://www.accuracyinternational.com/images/aics-1.jpg With one of these http://www.snipercentral.com/images/reviews/spst6.jpg To make one of these http://www.quarterbore.net/forums/ph.../DSC09125a.JPG Obviously barrel length is a variable. |
