As far as I know the only commando units that wore Kefiyah (Shemagh) were the PLO commando units stationed in Jordan and Lebanon and some special force elements of PLO that were tasked with protection of Arafat etc.
Most Arab Commando units wear different kinds of camo with tigerstripe or woodland type patterns or OD. Generally wear red or blue berets and carried/ry AK underfolders. I seriously doubt any true Arab commando would use an UZI,... 9mm and Israeli made (....BAD) not to say it is impossible.
Osprey's book titled "Arab armies of the Middle East " has a few great color plates and photos of some of the spec units from the War of Lebanon era.
