<3 you too kalnaren :)

When you buy shit from an individual on the web you know you run the risk of dealing with a carpenter who thinks he knows how to bake.
or you run into a Jackass who's out to Fk you.
Deal with real-tailers and you get satisfaction and product you were expecting.

this is my Ebay Favorite..... I've never posted but

WW II "Potato Masher"
Still in working order, wooden handle, steel top.
Little rust full size was commonly used during WWII
this one shows a little rust but I haven't tried it.

$14.95

Go ahead and complain to Ebay about what you thought you were gonna get!

Rugger_can March 9th, 2011 17:47

Hey Taliban, that's a cool story and all bro. But using this thread as a means to coerce the offending party to comply with your demands is kinda unethical too.

Either piss or get off the pot mate.

I still feel for ya, I fucking hate getting shafted.

I just had to blow some steam - and it seems I am not the only one who has gotten burned. At least I don't feel alone anymore.

What's the eBay seller? I've been watching a bunch of patch auctions on there & if you've got someone to avoid pass it on.

m102404 March 9th, 2011 18:01

Did Jeroon f*ck you over on that potato masher thing too?!?!

I ordered some surplus camping stuff and the bastard sent me a stick grenade!

The Ebay patch link:

The patches I received did not look anything like the picture.

Some of the other patches look sketchy too. Copies from Asia for the same price as the originals I'd guess. Most people probably would just say cool and not pickup on the deficiencies when they received them.

You know if you paid with paypal you can file a dispute in regards to the Ebay add.

It's usally very effective.

remember you only have 45 days to file.

I hate buying used guns, unless they're "basically new". Every time I buy well used guns, there's issues that weren't mentioned. Sometimes they're small and easy to forgive, while other times they'll be huge, obvious, and expensive.

As for the potato masher... It's $15 and "still in working order" and the seller says "I haven't tried it", so he was clearly not referring to a real grenade. Sketchy maybe, but at $15, I fault the buyer for not clarifying on that one.

I've had Paypal drag their feet for two months, then tell me the supporting documentation was too old for them to use, and they dismissed my case over and over. I kept filing complaints, and it got to the point where they straight out told me they weren't going to respond to my complaints anymore.

Eeyore March 9th, 2011 18:24

I never use anything but a credit card for ebay. Credit card companies will go to rediculous lengths to collect money from another party if you refute a transaction.

It aint perfect but it's an option and he certainly won't be more unfucked if he doesn't try.

In counterpoint to you, I purchased a Video game cartridge off ebay a few years ago. When I received it I quickly identified it as a knockoff/copy and filed a complaint. It was resolved within a few days and I was reimbursed the full amount.

Hmm. Same thing I purchased. I wish I had your luck.
