Link me?

Thenooblord August 27th, 2010 11:59

i hadnt opened that gun in like 8 months...
the battery was not too long, you just have to put the wires in the right place
i said that semi auto didnt work in the sales thread, but htat was not the same issue i was having, it would just shoot auto in semi and i couldnt be assed to fix it
organic material in the gun? lint maybe? i dont know about that
i didnt read the rest, ill finish later, gotta run

Forever_kaos August 27th, 2010 12:08

(If this is a AKS-74U)
I traded him that gun in shooting condition, not his fault.

It was something I got from Knives, and tinkered with a bit then the fire selector acted up.
(He was informed of such problems)

I never had a problem fitting the G&P 9.6 2200 battery in there, once you figure out where to place the wires. Yes it's a bit tricky, but can be done.

The TB barrel I received from Knives (installed in the gun) was pre-chopped in that condition.
Pretty sure I mentioned it to TNL, but I did not have any problems with it's accuracy using it indoors at Flag Raiders.

Passed those concerns, I can't explain the rest.
Hope that helps.

The only thing that I read to be "wrongly accused" is removing the bump for the SCS, that's not required

But everything else you've described seems like "one of the best guns I'd ever saw'd" ;)

Kid August 27th, 2010 14:55

A real gun doctor could diagnose that they put the wrong nozzle length in the gun.

No no no, it's not wrong, it's an upgrade !!!

Thenooblord August 27th, 2010 15:58

if you had a problem why didnt you contact me first, now you've got some other issues that werent there originally, like the mechbox locking up that you mentioned, and the nozzle is AK length.. its not wrong...

Kid August 27th, 2010 16:02

The mechbox is no longer locking up on semi since I removed the bearing spring guide.
The nozzle was too short, which was why it only shot about 20 feet. I replaced it with a longer one and it worked, with no missfeeding.

It's working fine now. It just needs a new wiring job.

I didn't contact you because I was waiting on the selector nub for a few weeks. I just got working on this gun a couple days ago. Honestly though, what could you have done?

Thenooblord August 27th, 2010 16:05

maybe i was shipped the wrong nozzle, when i got it the piston was stripped and the nozzle cracked, so i bought replacements, didnt think to compare the nozzle lengths, assumed they shipped the right one, sorry bout that

Kid August 28th, 2010 21:24

Semi isn't working again. Same problem as stated in the first post of this thread.

Sometimes it will get a shot off after auto, sometimes it will just lock back.

Maybe the semi-auto cut off is being tripped early? The lever didn't appear to be damaged or worn.

Any ideas? Would there be any reason to think that the wiring could be to blame?

I can't take it apart right now, but later tonight I'll be able to.

Kid August 29th, 2010 22:14

At least it'll probably work decent after I get the wiring replaced (need to get myself a new soldering iron first).

Another gun I got from a different seller at the same time - tim001ca

Sold as having 9 lowcaps, it had 9 plastic STAR realcaps that only feed 14-15BBs each. Useless to me.

And the lower receiver has a crack on it. Guy pretended he didn't notice it.

Guy says "Sorry."

*Note to self, do not buy well used guns from the classifieds.

Amos August 29th, 2010 22:36

I think the lesson here is... don't buy CHEAP guns from the classified section lol

DarkAngel August 30th, 2010 14:40

Or.. Dont buy Nooblord's "the best gun's you'll ever fire".

I just saw yet ANOTHER one of your "work" yesterday.

A KJ Hicapa that you JUST sold locally to a kid that came out to our field to try it out for the first time.

Blowback Assembly was completely blown apart, nozzle had a HUGE crack going along BOTH sides of the nozzle and around the tip.

It literally exploded inside the blowback chamber and cannot be removed without cutting out whats left of the nozzle from the blowback chamber.

Funny thing is, I just saw a thread that you wrote recently

Funny. Im pretty sure its that EXACT gun your mentioning that exploded. I also call BULLSHIT on your "experience"

Im getting really sick of seeing new guys that were trying to encourage into the sport getting put off with your garbage.

Im also getting really sick of you going around calling yourself a "gun doc" cause it seems to me like your abusing your self gotten title like a selling point to sell your garbage.

Clearly you have no aptitude for diagnosis, repair or upgrades. This has been proven on MANY threads that you opened your mouth on.

More and More of your 5-6 Guns are popping up.
Your a lying sack of shit and the sad thing is that new players who dont know better are the ones getting screwed by you. The experienced ones are smart enough to stay the fuck away.

Get your shit together, or GTFO.

Brian McIlmoyle August 30th, 2010 14:53

Buyer Beware... You don't think that TNL requested the tag under his name did you?

That was granted as a warning to others.. He breaks everything he gets .. patches it up as best he can ( only so much you can do with one screwdriver and a hammer) and off loads the guns to unsuspecting NOOBs ( how can a NOOB resist buying from their Lord? )

You know even pathologists are Doctors .. even though everything they deal with is already dead.

When all you have is a Hammer...
All your problems look like nails.
