AH I see, yes this does happen, you does go pretty solid with some guns.

IRL bullpups are great but they do have drawbacks that keep them from being the new standard rifle design, ever fired one? holy shit the action is right under your ear they are loud and can actually throw off the equilibrium in your ear (what controls balance) cause it will shake the shit out of your semicircular's, having the action a little forward like in standard rifles makes a huge difference. the ejection port is also in the way for lefties, guns fired shell ejects right into the user's face.


my recomendation is a WE/AWSS KAC PDW. It's my baby, I have the realistic open bolt version and their powerfull like you wouldn't believe, I use .25's and get huge range out of it very good for bush fighting when you have to shoot through grass. it's also small, very light, and compact, this is good for bush fighting as it won't get hung up on anything. in airsoft it's much more than a pdw, on hot days I used sniper rules on it and gave it a big MED and it ran awesome, it's like an ultra small semi auto sniper (it does have full auto I never use it though, I've seen what one shot can do to someones forehead I'd hate to zip someone there)

If you likes bullpup, they you might prefer a G36 over an M4 variant.

The carry handle optic is really horrible to use on all models avalaible... Had a Star, CA, Ares and SRC over the years... all of then are bad for the optics.

A G36K is about the same lenght and weight distribution as a M4A1 with the stock open.

I currently have an MG36 (from SRC) with a flat top rail and 38mm scope (cheap one but works awesome for airsoft... way better than the stock one).

I have yet to find someone with one on the field. I see 2-3 M249s at the time, but never MG36s. They are also a lot lighter than any other support weapon out there... about the same weight as a full metal M16...barely more than your AUG.

And you have the option of having a bunch of extra external parts to convert it to anything you want. I have a G36K rail front end, fluted bull barrel and SL9 mags for sniping, and a regular K barrel with a G5 flash hider ans silencer, M4 mag adapter and mags for assault days. Takes 3 minutes and two pins to change the configuration (I keep the K lenght tightbore all the time).

The ONLY drawback I have with G36s that way is the battery space. I either run a stock pouch (cannot close the stock since I put it on the right side... but I never do anyways) or a LiPo in the foregrip when sniping (PEQ-15 box).

I love my G36 but as Tyson mentioned, mags are bulky, nearly 2x the thickness of M4 mags but thankfully you can opt for a magwell converter that will let you run M4 mags on a G36. Not the prettiest thing and some magwell converters are sometimes picky with what brand of mags you use but you'll be able to carry twice as many mags which could come in handy with games running realcap.

I also agree with Kos-Mos about battery space. They all run the batteries in the handguard and theres very little space for a large type battery. There is only 1 stock I know of that'll hold a custom battery for a G36 or again, you can opt for an M4 stock adapter to run a more standard crane stock battery. Hes also right about the stock optics, they all suck and the gun doesn't have iron sights unless you get the C style top rail.

Now at the end of all this, you've pretty much turned a G36 into quirky looking M4 hybrid which in your opinion may or may not be something you fancy but it'll definitely be a uniquely aesthetic weapon on the field.

I would love to use a bullpup rifle, but I can't do much cuz im left handed and a lot of them are set up for right handers only

I love the G36 series. I'm using an SL-9 right now primarily. It's big (bigger than a G3-SG1), but light as heck and rare as hell too.

M4's are ok... but everyone and their mother has one.

+1 to that, you don't really see those often on the fields, also it's not enough uncommon that you won't get an okay choice of parts

and nobody mentionned it but what about a H&K G3 ?

I've just swapped my MP5 for a FAMAS and must say, FAMAS's are basically symmetrical along the shooting plane. So are many other bullpups as far as I know. The only thing a lefty would have an issue with would be the trigger lock, which isn't that big of an issue.


+1, it is basically an MP5, so most MP5 accessories and aftermarket parts will fit it. Plus I've seen alot of neat things done with G3s.

AK74, G3 SG1, but nothing will beat the tactical performance of a good old M4 :D
Problem is 9/10 people haven't the slightest damn clue on how to use an M4 properly lol

As for I like a lot the G36 but I always change the magwell so I can use M4 mags, way easier to pull out of pockets.
I would like to finally see an HK417 in airsoft I use one for medium range target shooting.
For CQB, TAR-21 seriously rocks but it lacks modularity and bulpup aren't ambidextrous on a very annoying thing : the ejection port, I always get a brass in the shirt with them (I'm jinxed on that, yes)...
