I am sure you already know this if you are thinking of adding the deans yourself as I assume you have some solder skills but anyway....

Make sure you tin the deans first to make a more secure connection or the wires will fall off as they move around

There is in a front wired TM MP5, it allows you to remove the mechbox while leaving the wiring harness inside the body since the wires run under the hop up unit which is screwed to the body half. One less step and less risk of losing the two small screws that secure the hop up unit.

Am sure some other guns would benefit from a quick disconnect in the body making mechbox removal easier.

I actually wired a buddy's MP5 to front AND rear. One mini connection he can clip the extender connector to for a rear fullstock, and a wire pair going to the front handguard mini connector. It's a pretty sweet setup so he can switch between a fullstock and retractable stock.

My SD I could rig like that (have an M4 slither stock with a battery bag), but the front grip houses my Trigger Master. Lol, I did wire up my buddy's CA M249 to run two batteries, the one in the box mag, and a pair of 8.4V 1400mAh mini batteries in the front grip. Switch between them depending on box mag or Armalite mags.
