I thought about this, maybe it might be appropriate for his family to hold an auction of all his airsoft gear here on ASC, procedes going to his family and we can all have a piece to remember him by? Personally I'd love to have something of his to remember him by. All I've got is the few memories of playing beside him, joking with him before/after the games, and pics of him I see. I think this might be a great idea if anyone wants to follow it further.

Même si je n'étais pas proche de lui je compatie pour sa famille, je sais au combien c'est dur de perdre une personne Ã* qui on tient énormement.

Steven, même si tu n'es plus de ce monde, sache au moins que nous avons une pensé pour toi.

Juste un petit mot pour vous faire savoir que je transmet vos belles pensées à la Maman et au frère de Steven qui en ont grandement besoin. J'avoue que ça me fait du bien à moi aussi. J'espère vous rencontrer dimanche pour connaître enfin toutes les personnes dont Steven me parlait avec passion.

J'ai eu le plaisir de rencontrer HellRanger quelques fois dans le passé, et l'impression qu'il m'a laissé était autant professionelle qu'amicale. Je regrette profondément de ne pas avoir eu l'opportunité de le connaitre d'avantage.

Im too new here to have gotten to ever talk with him but it saddens me to lose a player like this. When someone first posted a picture of him I was amazed on how young he looked.

Lorsque j'ai enfilé un équipement d'airsoft pour la première fois dans le salon de Slim, HellRanger et Switch se tenait lÃ* devant moi avec le regard fier et heureux. Même si je ne suis plus un joueur actif, une game d'airsoft sans HellRanger ne sera pas aussi excitante. Sur un terrain, il était toujours un adversaire redoutable.

HellRanger, prends bien soins de toi!

Une si grande perte. Steven jamais nous ne t'oublieront tu à été pour nous un très grand joueur et une très grand ami. tu resteras a toujours dans nos coeur et dans toutes les partie future une place pour toi y seras toujours. Les partie future ne seront plus se quelle étais. cette nouvelle m'attriste beaucoup. jamais je n'aurais crut possible d'avoir tant de peine mais depuis quelque temps ont c'était rapprocher pas mal. Un grand ami (voir un frère de la famille airsoft) viens de nous quitter une perte des plus dure a surmonté.

Toutes Mes condoléances a la famille et au proche ces une épreuve difficile a surmonter et nous sommes tous avec vous.

Le souvenir que j'ai de lui c'est quand j'était nouveau au airsoft sur le terrain de rigaud. Il était la et il m'as acceuilli dans son équipe quand j'était revenu d'un respawn et m'as laissé m'intégrer au groupe sans que ce soit importunant pour lui, ça et le fameux incident de l'accusation du AEG trop fort contre patof ou tibrad a beauharnois qui était en réalité ok mais il l'avais pris personnel car la douleur sur sa jointure l'avais mis en boule, j'ai pas hésité Ã* lui remonter le moral après quand il est resté tout seul Ã* se morfondre Ã* savoir si il avais bien fait de chialer ou non. Même dans ses mauvais moments, j'ai que des bons souvenirs.

Cheers mon homme, prends s'en une au valhalla Ã* notre santé!

Je vais essayer d'être présent dimanches.

His mother ask US the airsoft community to take care of that final wish. Eventhow we can be at each other's troaths from time to time I saw first had the strenght and bond of the airsoft family, because we are a family, There is something about the game we play that bring the best In all of us. Never loose that perspective next time your on the field.

May he finaly find the inner peace that he had when playing the game.

He was alway pushing me to host an other game....look's like he won that argument.

I used to be pretty heavy into the blues scene as far as music goes, had quite a few friends but only a couple very close friends........... then I kinda got out of it when my son was born and was literally without many friends at all for a couple years until I got into airsoft. Now I have MANY good friends that I enjoy the company of each and every one of them. And Apoc said it best a year and a bit after he and I started the team Warmongers, [paraphrasing]"You know, I spent the holiday with my family, but my time with my teammates is more valuable to me because I consider us to be a family, not that I'm trying to be gay or anything.[/paraphrasing]

Even though we don't stand any chance of getting killed in action with the game we play, I think we develop a bond with each other similar to what soldiers do, in that we are a close knit community, police our community, stand up for each other and will back each other 100% in a firefight. Trust gets developed and friendships hardened with this game. I think this is part of the reason we allow ourselves to isolate new players, they haven't earned the trust of the players or the community yet, but we know what it's like to be a new guy and we allow that trust and friendship to develope by helping others learn the ropes.

I wasn't able to get to Hellranger's funeral, I wanted to but logistics got in my way, but I was there in spirit with all of you. And Steven's last wishes are great, more so that his mother wants the community that he was part of to realise that for him. So load his ashes into a M203 with a 165 rd BB shower grenade in there and scatter him over a field. I think he'd greatly approve. :(

I had the opportunity to play a few games with HellRanger, and he was a hell of a player. You always knew that when you played with him, it was always more intense, more realistic...more fun. RIP brother....and stand easy..
