Every site I've looked at so far has them for apx $180 (US) I know there is a difference in exchange rate but not that much lol. also almost all of them are listed as the JG 614 instead of 416 any difference? I'm thinking about buying one in teh next week or so and wanna make sure I'm buying the same high quality AEG everybody has been talking about. Any help much appreciated. Also be advised this is gonna be my first "decent(i.e. not a flea market special" AEG I do plan to have someone lower the FPS to 325-350 before I start gaming. Any help would be much appreciated( whether it relates to the 416 or not)

Simply put, the laws in Canada differ from the laws in American in regards to airsoft. Unfortunetly this affects the costs we have to pay. Lucky for you that you live in America. I do not believe there is a difference between the 416 and the 614. If your planning on having mechbox work done make sure its done by someone with mechbox knowledge as attempting to do the work yourself with out the know how can be difficult.

!?!!?

The JG HK416, with the removable flash hider, and battery butt stock, did you order it from a website or got it from a store? I cant seem to find one just like that.

just got mine last week from shootsoft

its a sweet gun, chronoing at 416~421FPS. The mechbox is very nice looking too.

though the hop up adjustment was somewhat really stiff, but that's okay... and the quality of the body was amazing. I actually thought it was metal until I touched it. Also, the front sight came cricket, so I had to take out the pins and a screw to fix the position

railing =[

:banghead: For sum reason, the rails on my hk416 (jg) crane stock, will not fit regular accesories! Do I have to file the edges down or something? Help is needed dearly:D

dpvu August 14th, 2008 03:54

Some of them have non-standard spacing on the rails making mounting accessories difficult. I heard it was fixed in later versions.

WOW

Wow, I just bought it from AirsoftGI. Have not used it,BUT i have touched it and played with the magazine and gun overall. Do you think they can send me another one?

TokyoSeven August 14th, 2008 07:55

That would be a question you would have to ask them and check with their customer service policies. If the product is defective odds are they should allow an exchange. If they dont well unfortunetley your going to have to buy yourself a new front end.

AngelusNex August 14th, 2008 10:20

Though if you live in canada DO NOT send it back as you got really lucky to get it in.

TokyoSeven August 14th, 2008 10:30

Im assuming he does not live in Canada, or atleast I really hope he does not.

spartan1o5 August 14th, 2008 14:25

Thanks you guys, girls! I will try to contact Airsoft GI and tell them my problem. I do not live in canada but i went to vancouver for a week last week

spartan1o5 August 14th, 2008 15:02

They told me its just the rail on the hk416. They tried on a UTG foregrip on one of theirs and it didnt fit either.

TokyoSeven August 14th, 2008 16:44

The ball is in your court now. If you are able to get a replacement or partial refund is up to how adept you at talking business with them. If you can convince them that your rail issue is due to an actual manufacturer defect then you maybe able to work something out with them. However the outcome in this situation is based on how smooth/sharp your tongue is.

spartan1o5 August 14th, 2008 18:48

hmm... so your saying a manufacturer defect is able to give me a partial refund? The guy was saying that some accessories dont fit on the gun... so i dont know how to respond to that

gabe_guitarded August 14th, 2008 19:05

I dare you to put a carry handle and an M4 front sight on it. Like that MP7, but less... Frankenstein-ish...
