I do.

yeah, you have one main body where the stock and trigger is and yo have 2 upper receivers, one configured for close quater situation and another with a silencer longer looking sniping configuration and maybe a scope attached....of course this is just for looks, I know there is no difference from the m4a1 to the m16a3 performance... just looks cooler when you open a case and you have a choices of upper receiver to chose from with only one lower receiver part all molded into the case..... an example

...this makes me want to purchase another P.T.W. and sell the lower receiver....very tempting

I do.

It's that sort of statement that makes me want to get my kids making knock off tactical gear in the basement so I can get one......

One day.....one day.

I have 3 and seriously entertaining the idea of getting a 4th. By seriously, I mean, I will do it, it's just a matter of time and availability. I use 1 nearly all the time, but 2 of the others will become speciality weapons, and the will be semi-auto only and M150 equipped with some other special goodies.

I will likely end up using them alot.

that sounds so pointless, why dont you just buy uppers.
thats rediculous...makes no sense to have 4

What money I have invested in 1 + the other one I've found would not even cost 1/2 what you spent on your SCK. That's why. And look at all the spare parts I could have, except the guns actually work.

Besides, you can't swap uppers to retain semi-auto only capacity. That's in the lower, hence the whole gun.

I'd love to get one of those German SAO PTWs... Really cool stuff.

wey ferro November 5th, 2007 22:06

just have two lowers and 4 uppers then

It will be 4 lowers (2 M16, 2 M4) and 4 uppers (1 cqb-r, 1 M4, 2 M16), all complete guns to with what I want. 1 will be a dedicated sniper platform, 1 will be a MAX M16, semi-auto only with the M150, and the other 2 remain unchanged. It's easier and cheaper for me to buy the whole gun than to get an upper and outer barrel.

Just wanted to make a note to you guys who mention customs fees and ordering PTW stuff from me. I can work the customs forms a little to avoid fees if need be. I didn't realize you guys were getting raped by customs.

*kdogg* glances around, cough cough.

ILLusion November 27th, 2007 02:21

kdogg, the problem isn't the brokerage/handling fees that customs and brokerage firms charge.

The problem is that airsoft guns are considered PROHIBITED devices by Canada customs. In other words, as a civilian, we absolutely, 100% can NOT import the guns under importation law.

Last time I ordered somthing from an American retailer, Customs nailed me with an inspection fee and GST. This was an item sent from an individual (not a company) and listed as a "gift".

Our Customs has caught on to that trick apparently.

But on the plus side for Empire, they do seem to have a good stock on parts, even the odd-ball ones, and Wallace is close-by, too!!
