Karma already posted about the airsoft grenades on www.milsimlabs.com but has anyone seen the flash bangs there they seem pretty safe but caps are loud and legal.

Wasn't it shared info from Warmongers that DOW benefitted from? Or you talking about something completely different? ;) I recall twice giving Deeds full instructions on the making of cool yet safe grenades. :-)

Dirty Deeds July 17th, 2006 21:12

Yes it was.

It's the way it happened, when I made the first one, I never said where I got the info, and in all the rush for OPQPII, it was never talked about.

Wow. What's the chances of getting these into canada though. I'd love to get a few of those flash bangs. Oh well, wishful thinking I guess.

bluetooth July 17th, 2006 21:37

Why wouldnt they allow them?

Hehe, great stuff! Actually, at one point Iceman asked me about my ides and the grenades, I gave him full info too, I think that affected the coolness of QP2 special effects somewhat.

Hehe, just watched the video of ya Deeds, brave man for trying them indoors! I see and hear the glee of your inner Warmonger after the BANG!

They shouldn't be a problem, I can't see a single reason for these not reaching you provided they don't mark "flashbang" or "grenade" on the customs declaration forms. :smack:

It was quite awsome to try them indoors. I actually liked it, as you can see.....lol

CDN_Stalker July 18th, 2006 09:23

Oh ya! They are super loud inside, hence the reason we try to avoid using them inside. It's not that they are dangerous due to projectiles, just the bang is harmful. And best part about them, aside from the effect, is they are dirt cheap to make.

I found this cool dummie grenade that has a safty pin and the spoon shoots off on impact.Heres the link http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwol...nu2=1183#17286.

Just so no one thinks I've abandoned the project, I'm still working on getting UK-style stuff here. Canada Day and the fireworks season kinda put that on the farthest burner.

Ghillie973 July 20th, 2006 14:31

I just placed an order for two "flashbangs" from www.milsimlabs.com.

I sent him an e-mail and he replied saying he hasn't had any problems with customs as he he ships them as a "toy cap device." Since they only cost $5 a peice, it's not really a big deal if they do get taken.

Anyways, I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

bluetooth July 26th, 2006 15:59

When are you expecting these "flashbangs" to arrive and what mail sevice does he use to ship them?

I'm hoping to get them within the week. He uses US Airmail I think.
