My name is Karlrenz, I'm from the eastern of Toronto. I just turned 18 last September however I've been into airsoft since I was 16. Though at the time all I did was read about it and learn a few things but now that I am of age I've gotten myself a few rifles and side arms. I'm hoping to get age verified soon and making some new friends along the way! I'm pretty busy with school at the moment since I go to UofTSG so going out to events isn't really possible also because of transportation. Anyway, cheers to you all!

I have been airsofting for roughly 4 years and I'm part of the NBG, (Nordic battle group)
I have applied for age verification with a registered age verifer in my city twice now and still have not been verified, it's been over 5 weeks for the first time and almost 3 weeks for the second try. Can someone help me out with this problem?

Hello all, my names Kendall and I'm addicted to shiny objects and .... Oh wait that's a story for another day, well okay. For the last 15 years my hobby was collecting flashlights, yeah I camp and I can two step but I'm not passionate about much else. My son is my whole world but my wife left me and I only have him 50% of the time. Which leaves me with enough spare time to branch out into a new hobby. As much as I love playing xbox, it's not getting me out of the house.
I played paintball last week and I thought to myself, this is fun but I bet airsoft is better.
Now I'm here to learn :)

While I'm new to Airsofting, I did do a fair bit of paintballing (gone through a couple guns in my years). My buddy decided that he was going to get into it, thinking it was cheaper, and a lot less messy. In the end, he said it was great fun, so I figured it would be a good idea to try it out myself. Hope to meet some people, have fun, yada yada.

I've been perusing these forums for a few months now and thought I'd finally join up.

- I grew up in Hamilton and have been living in Oakville area for roughly the last 10 years
- I'm a VERY avid researcher
- I'm a civil engineering graduate and am currently finishing my undergraduate in Mathematics (my program also involves lots of programming)
- I've got a great family with, so far, only 1 daughter
- I played backfield in speedball during all open games for a few years and as such, I'm quite comfortable with supplying information to my teamates while providing covering fire and moving as a team
- Airsoft is completely new to me but I feel my paintball background will ease the transition
- I finally got my first kit setup and immensely excited to get playing this weekend

Planning to get a VFC H&K 417. Just looking for events, players and places to play around the National Capital Region.

New player checking in from Hope, BC. Been having a great time playing out at Panther the past couple of months, and looking forwards to hitting up some of the bigger Milsims later this year. Keen to play, and looking forwards to meeting more players in the valley.
More interested in Milsims & op's with a story line, effective use of small unit tactics, and teamwork rather than spray and pray skirmishes. But if push comes to shove, then I'll play whatever.

Hi all, i'm another Airsoft newbie and figured my first post should be a 'hi all!'.

I've shot air guns for most of my life and powder guns on and off for years now (i'm half way through my 40s!). I discovered Airsoft guns in Thailand over this past winter. When I saw my first one I had NO idea what "Airsoft" meant and thought it was cool that you could put gas right into the magazine instead of using those little CO2 cartridges in the grip.

I later figured out that Airsoft is a type of air gun (yup, a little slow in my old age) and after coming back home I've shot (and bought!) a few guns. So I guess I'm at the beginning of what's looking to be quite the addiction!

At moment I'm using Airsoft guns for target shooting in my condo since they're so much safer than pellet guns but i'm planning to come out to a game (and probably get shot repeatedly) some time soon.

I have been reading about this for a few months now and I think I'm ready to make the jump... if I can find decently priced gear. I'm definitely not down to pay 250-300$ for a gun here that should cost 100-150$ so hopefully I find decent second hand guns.

I guess my next step is to get age verified, as much as I don't feel like coordinating with some dude to meet up just to show my driver's license ... gotta do what you gotta do, right?
